Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!

Our weekly challenge theme is always Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.

This week our sponsor is Moonflower who will be offering a $10 gift certificate to spend in their store!

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

Also don't forget we are also always looking for people to guest spot on our DT. So if you would like to be considered as a GDT, after your name on your entry add the letters GDT.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Christine:  I chose to use the beautiful  Lilly Ice Skating image from Moonflower,   as usual coloured with my Copics. She’s a lovely image to colour! I used the Copics to create an icy lake for her to skate on with snowy banks and die cut pine trees, I added Wink of Stella to the ‘ice’ and some white Frantage to the sky. Lilly was fussy cut and placed on top. I placed the little scene in a glittery die cut frame, matted onto a large ‘all over’ snowflake diecut (unsure of the make). The glittery die cut skates and  stamped sentiment are attached with a snowflake brad.

Ruth:  I picked this cute image - Gigi Little Mermaid and coloured her up with Promarkers plus a little bit of glitter here and there.  The background frame has been cut by the Bubblicious frame from Polkadoodles and I found a random bit of card in my stash which matched the colours!

Hello.. Billie A here with my card. The image is called Lilly ice skating.  I colored the image with Copics.  I then used my cloud template and then drew in with Copics an iced pond that she is skating on. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to her skate blades and the ice. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink.  I finished by adding some sequins. I thought they looked like snow.

Jane - Hi all! I have also used the gorgeous Lilly Ice Skating and created a scene for her with a stencil, texture paste, glitter and ink. I coloured Lilly with Copics and all details are on my blog.

Hi Shell, here with my latest make. I just love this fabulous mermaid. I have coloured her with Promarkers & Faber-Castell pencils. On the backing paper I have added foil to give it a shine, but no matter which way I took my photos you can't see it. I added some die cut seaweed and flowers. Finishing it off with a sentiment....all detail are on my blog The Camels Hump x

Hi! Hanna here. I've also used this lovely mermaid by MoonFlower called Gigi Little Mermaid. I've coloured her with Distress Inks. I thought the image was perfect on a shaker card. The papers are some old ones from DCWV called Once Upon a Time. Very suitable for the image don't you think? :)

Hi! Lou here. I am Guest DT for August through to October and so this is my first card! I've also used the cute Gigi Little Mermaid by Moonflower. She is coloured with Copics. I was thinking of making a shaker card, but then I found this stepper card as I was going through my stash over the weekend. I also wanted to use my new stencils and some die cuts from La-La Land Crafts. All the details are on my blog, along with some close-ups of Gigi Little Mermaid. :)

Just fabulous as always ladies.

Also don't forget we are also always looking for people to guest spot on our DT. So if you would like to be considered as a GDT, after your name on your entry add the letters GDT.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  We are welcoming Lyn and AJ as a Guest Designers for the next three months!

Ruth:  I've used this cute Winnie - Expecting a New Baby from the Celebrations 3 collection.  I've coloured her with Promarkers and added a little bit of glitter glue here and there for a bit of sparkle!

Lyn:  Here is my first card for my GDT postion at the end of august using the polka doodles Winnie image.
For my card i used the Winnie in wonderland image Time will tell, coloured with promarkers and matched with polka doodles Beau Paperie paper pad

Hello ..I'm  Billie A. .. I am showing my card using the image called Basketball little dude .. I started by fussy cutting the image out. Then found some designer papers and laid them out and adhered them down. I then colored the image with copics and for the levi pants I added some copic  -0 to a scrap piece of levi material and laid it on the colored pants. I love how the colorless blender leaves the levi look on the image. I then added this boy to the card with foam dots. I used Stampin up stitch circle die to cut out the sentiment. I went around the edges with Quick Quote chalk ink. I added this with foam dots. I completed the card with Close to my heart bling and white gel pen to his cheeks.

Hello, This is Sherry GD: I used 'Basketball - Little Dudes' by 'Polkadoodles'...I colored the image with colored pencils. Used distress oxide ink on the white card base, around the image, on the sides of the paper and on both sentiments. I also added a basketball and star brad on the card.
I also used 'Wizardly Magic - Little Dudes' by 'Polkadoodles'...I cut the image out with a frame die, then colored it with colored pencils. Used a white gel pen to make dots around the top part of the wand and a glitter pen to add sparkles. I fussy cut the sentiments out and used coffee stained gauge behind them. Used a paper crimper on a piece of black cardstock and went around the white card base with black ink.

Hello. This is Kym here. For my card I have used the Polkadoodles image called "Wizardy Magic Little Dude". In this set you get the actual image, 3 backing papers and some sentiments so fantastic value for money. I printed off two of the backing papers and coloured my image in with Promarkers following the colour scheme of one of the backing papers. The Promarkers that I have used are:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Cinnamon, Tan and Pastel Beige
Cloak/shoes/top/trouser/scarf - Poppy, Red, Gold, Canary, Bright Green, Leaf Green. Sky Blue, True Blue and Royal Blue
Owl/wand - Pastel Beige, Tan, Cinnamon and Cocoa.

Hi, This is CaroleAnn posting my card creation for my second month as Guest Designer for Colour Crazy Challenge.  I have sweet Winnie here from Polkadoodles.  I have a few of their Winnie images and I can never make up my mind which to color first.  So since this is the sponsor image, no fretting for me just jumped on board.  This is Winnie Wonderland Time and I colored her up with Copic Markers to match my papers and she is framed with Distress Inks and popped up with 3D foam to the background paper.  Papers used from my stash of Graphic 45/Halloween in Wonderland and BoBunny/Timepiece.   Ribbons and flowers from my stash.

Hello, this Melle Clef. I'm showing you today the shabby card I've made with Winnie Wonderland Time from Polkadoodles. She is so cute, with her giant bow and clock. I am a fan of Alice in Wonderlands story and this image is a good representation of its magical atmosphere. I watercolored Winnie because I wanted to get a result with soft and sweet colors. I made my own background with a pink paper, an embossing folder and distress inks.

Janet, I've also used the Polkadoodles images Wizardy Magic Little Dude. I've coloured it with Alcohol pens. I've only used one of the background papers that come with the image but I've 3d'd some of the stars and all the background dots have been glittered. I have also used one of the sentiments that come with the image too. Great set of images.

AJ here. I am going to be a GDT for the next 3 months!
I have used Wizardy Magic Little Dude Set from Polkadoodles.

Hi it's Sharon, and I have made my card using Wizardy Little Magic Dude and one of the matching papers. I have coloured him in using Spectrum Noirs and made the smoky background with smudges of distress ink.

Just fabulous as always ladies.

Hello .. Billie A here with my fun card called Toadstool homes.  I colored the images with Copics.  I added Glossy accents to the dots on the toadstools and stars. I added my clouds and cobble stone path. I found this awesome designer paper and added this behind the image. The sentiment is from Stampendous. To finish the blank space I added some sequins.

Wendy:  using Oddball Art Company's 'Magical Pile of Cute'.  Sentiment from the same set as the stamp. Paper from Making Cards magazine.

Sherry GD: I used the 'Cute Little Whimsical Mushroom Home - Toadstool House' by 'Oddball Stamps'...I colored the image with colored pencils, used distress ink on the brown card base and around the image. I used a paper crimper on the pink die cut frame, added star sequins and flower stamens beneath the roses.

Tammy:  I used the Magical Pile of Cute for my card.  I colored the unicorns and sprites with my copics.  I then took my glossy accents to highlight the unicorns and also did their horns with my clear Wink of Stella.  The DP is just from my stash but it thought it was fun and whimsical to go with the image.

Also don't forget we are also always looking for people to guest spot on our DT. So if you would like to be considered as a GDT, after your name on your entry add the letters GDT.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hello.. Billie A here.. With my fun card for this challenge. I am using the image called Ladybug circle.  I printed out the image and colored with Copics and Prisma colored pencils. I added a little white gel pen to the flower centers. To give some extra flair I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the red part of the ladybug. I colored the green background with Copics as the white didn't look right. I heat embossed the Simon says sentiment. I trimmed down the piece and added to a black card stock.

Marjeta : Hello dear friends! I am with you again with my new card. I used digi stamp called Butterflies and Berries from Ching Chou Kuik collection. Love this stamp. Isn´t it  gorgeous?    I coloured with Prismacolor penciles:
Skin: creme, Light Peach, Salmone Rose, Peach, Burnet Ochre
Hair: Sand, Burnet Ochre, Tuscan red
Dress: Aquamarine, Light Aqua, Sky Blue
Leaf: Chartreuse, Olive green, Grass green

Hello everyone ! It is Melle Clef. I'm happy to share the card I have created with this amazing Butterflies and Berries digistamp from Ching Chou Kuik.   I colored the image with Touchfive markers and graph it, with a lot of red and a bit of green, as I made a Chrismas Greeting card.

Janet - I've used the Ching Chou Kuik image Ladybug Circle. I have coloured it usng Copic pens. The background is a stamp and has been coloured using distress inks. Plus a little glitter on the bug wings. And I have tried to colour the flower behind the sentiment to match.

Hi...Vic here. I got to use the lovely "ladybug set" from Ching Chou Kuik, this week. I coloured all the elements, using my alcohol pens, then put glossy accents on the ladybugs red wings. I wanted to keep this card quite feminine, but not overface the image, so popped a lacy diecut onto grey / white spotty card. After I had stamped the image, I found some teeny wooden ladybirds, in a little drawer, so added that too! PS... if you buy the ladybug set image, you also get another image...same style, but with a butterfly!

Just fabulous as always ladies.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  We'd like to welcome Christine who is joining us as a Guest Designer for three months!

Ruth:  I've used an image from Jellypark which is no longer available and coloured it with Promarkers - I enlarged it to fit a 7x7 inch envelope so its quite a large card!

Christine:  I used an Aurora Wings Digi Stamp, White Poppy, Which I’ve coloured with copics. I fussy cut it and attached to an embossed white tag, which is matted onto layers of blue and purple papers and a white die cut frame. The die cut poppies are Memory Box, and the poppies in the corner are coloured and cut from a smaller printing of the image. I added a few pearls , a stamped sentiment and some faux stitching with a white gel pen.

Hello.. Billie A here with my anything goes card. I started by stamping the light house which is an old wooden stamp that has no name on it. I then used my cloud template and when I finished I turned the cloud template up side down just to see what would happen and found I could create these fun waves. I used Ranger. I then stamped the My favorite things birds. I colored the light house and birds with copics. I stamped the hello also from MFT and the seagulls are from Simon Says.  I added some white gel pen to the waves.

Hi! Hanna here with a Supergirl card today. I coloured the image called Super Day by Mo's Digital Pencil with Distress Inks. The papers are some old ones by Glitz with the cool names Glam Crowns and Hot Mama Earrings.

Janet here, For my card this time I've used an image I have had for quite some time which unfortunately seems to be no longer available called Pear Baby. I have coloured it with alcohol pens. I have distressed the image edges  with bundled sage distress ink. Then just added a bit of ribbon and some candy

Jane - I have made a bookmark using this gorgeous image from Polkadoodles called January -Knowledge is Everything. I coloured her with pencils and the colours are listed on my blog.
