Week 21 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Sponsored by Bugaboo

   Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!

Our weekly challenge theme is always

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.

Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week. 


Ruth:  I've made a DL sized card using Gus Birthday - Collect Wrinkles, coloured with Promarkers and I've used some papers I've had languishing in my stash for an age.  And added some letter die cuts using offcuts of white card from a previous project.


Hello.. Billie A   I used the fun image from Bugaboo stamps called Gus birthday collected wrinkles.
I colored him with copics and added the Art Impressions sentiment and Paper Trey Ink happy birthday. The strip down the side is a Quick Quote dp scrap.  If you click on my name it will take you to this card over on my blog


Hello! Marjeta here, with my new card. I used sponsors digital stamp, called  Ladybug Daisy. I coloured image with Promarkers and create a sentiment with  sealing wax. DP and sentiment are from Folio.



This is Elizabeth at Warm Harted with a very fun image from Bugaboo called Pup Balloons. I had a lot of fun coloring this image using Copic Markers. I tried to integrate the colors with the die cut and the background paper. I used some liquid pearls to highlight the image, I also die cut the bow and accented it with a gem. 


Janet - This is the image called Pup Balloons from our sponsor Bugaboo. I fancied doing it in black white so I coloured the image with graphite pencils. I've decorated the background with a paw print stamp and just added a black and white ribbon and a sentiment.



Hi! Vic here again. I loved using the cute image called "pup balloons" from Bugaboo. I diecut a frame and fussy-cut the image after colouring it with my alcohol pens I put glossy accents on the balloons and added a fussy-cut butterfly and a pc generated sentiment.

Hello ... Billie A  here with my card using the cute image called Newborn Bear from Star Jam Lines. I created the clouds with my cloud template and Ranger ink. I then colored the image with copics. I added Nuvo drops to the stars in the blanket and the dots on the balloon. I finished with the Taylored Expression sentiment.  You can see more on my card by clicking on my name. Thank You 


Hi! Hanna here with a card using Gnome cooks by Star Jam Lines. The image is coloured with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers. I have used Distress Inks in Pumice Stone, Weathered Wood and Faded Jeans and the Numeric Layering Stencil by Tim Holtz and some opaque matte texture paste by Ranger to create my background. I wrote the sentiment on my computer using the free font KG Strawberry Limeade. I decorated the card with some rhinestones.

Kathy here sharing a Christmas card that features sweet digi image from Star Jam Lines named Gnome Cooks. I colored the cute little gnome with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. The card base is made with colorful Christmas cookie patterned paper and embellished with gingerbread cookies fussy-cut from the paper. So fun!



Hi, it is Louise here sharing my Newborn Bear card using the digi image Newborn Bear from StarJamLines. I have printed the image on to X-Press It Blending card and then coloured with Copics. I have added some additional clouds in the background, then adhered the coloured image to a slimline card from Envelope Solutions. The sentiment is a combination of sentiments from Power Poppy that I have stamped with Nautical Blue Memento ink. For more details, please check out my blog page here. Hello Silke here. For my card I have used the dig newborn bear from our sponsor StarJamLines. The edges of the card were wiped with a sponge. Then a strip of dotted design paper was applied. Clouds were wiped on a paper with a stencil and then the paper was attached to the card. The little bear was coloured with Copic, cut out and fixed with dimensionals. Finally, some clouds, small stars made of glitter paper and the sentiment were added. 


Ruth:  I had to do a boy and a girl card so here they are!  Using the cute Newborn Bear and coloured using Promarkers.  Everything else is from my stash.

Ruth:  I've used this fab Winnie image - this card was made for a work colleague who'd been promoted and was moving to a new team (and yes, she has a cup with her initial on!)  Papers are all from my stash and I've added some die cut letters from kraft card.  Image has been coloured with Promarkers.


Helloooooo, it's Jackie here. I used the image Beautiful Birdhouse from our fabulous sponsor Polkadoodles! coloured with pencils and chalks. A sweet Tonic Dp and some slimline dies seem to suit the image. A lovely die cut sentiment and paper-bow complete.  You can see more details HERE.



Hello.. Billie A  here with my card using the fun image called Honey Pie face mask. I colored her with copics. I added a scrap piece and finished with some Nuvo drops and My favorite things sentiment. I know there is a big smile behind that mask. Hello this is Kym here.  For my vintage/distressed style of Christmas card I have used the Polkadoodles image called "Snowman and Friends Digital Stamp - Winnie White Christmas".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and inked around the image, papers and doily with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo distress ink.  Papers are from Summertime Designs (sadly no longer available) and Hobbycraft.  I have finished my card off with two doily die-cuts coloured red with my Promarker, scrunchy ribbon and bell (from Lindt chocolate long eaten!!), small gems and a sentiment.


Hello, Donna here with a Singing Diva and coordinating papers from Polkadoodles Work & Play Vol 1 CD Collection.  I've colored this little Diva using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and added lots of Bling with Wink of Stella and Faux Gems....all Diva's need Bling!  More details can be found on my blog Here.

Ruth:  I've used Bob's Balloons, coloured with Promarkers plus two word die cuts using scraps of card from my stash.  The papers are positively ancient and they are all offcuts so I've had to be careful where they were placed to hide the joins!


Hello, Billie A here with my card using the image called Gardening Gus.  I colored him with copics and used my cloud template and Ranger ink.  I added him to an A2 card base. Hi there, Margo here and today I'm showing you a non-traditional christmas card, as cardmakers we know we make them all year long so when I saw this fabulous Surfin'Santa from our fabulous sponsor Dr Digi this week I just could not resist.  I have coloured him with my copic markers and used a die from Studio Light for the ticket shaped card.  I'm sure he will end up on quite some other cards, loved colouring him up. 


Hi Dawn here with my Dr. Digi card. I chose to work with Gardening Gus and make a Father's Day card for my husband! He loves to be outside and look after his garden, this card is perfect for him! I coloured him with copics and popped up his hat, hand/hoe, sandals, and hose rag. I computer generated the sentiment, love how it turned out!
