Week 7...Whimsy/Graph'It challenge....Floral/Love

Hi everyone - Happy Valentine's Day and welcome back to another fabulous Colour Challenge! 

This week we are all UBER excited at Graph'It because we are teaming up with the amazingly talented Design Team over at 

We are a family owned art stamp company dedicated to providing crafters around the world with whimsical and fun stamp designs. Our exclusive products are great for card making, scrap booking, and many other crafting projects.

Woooo!! So exciting!! 

Here on the Graph'It team we thought it would be kinda cool to challenge the Whimsy Digital Design Team and see what we all came up with and the results are stunning!

So our joint challenge this week is all about Florals/Love 

Whimsy were kind enough to supply us with all the digis for us to use this week and they have an array of amazing designs so make sure you head over there and go digi shopping NOWWWWW.....

This same challenge theme is running on the Whimsy challenge too so you can join in both our challenges at the same time! Woohoo!

You do NOT have to use our products to enter! 

You can use any kind of alcohol marker you wish!

As it's a special challenge week here on the Graph'It blog we will give away the following this week:

1. Our overall Random winner will receive a 12 pack of Graph'It markers worth £30

Claire C I've cased a gorgeous project Nikky made ages ago in sepia tones, but coloured it differently for my project. The rose stamps were from the Polkadoodles Pen&Paper Circle Club and the focal image is Danii from Whimsy Stamps.

Nikky....How exciting to be joining up with the Whimsy team! 

The image I have used is Whimsy's/Chrissy's Float My Boat which is just so adorable I couldn't resist and I hope I did it justice.

I was really bad and forgot to write down all the GI colours I used because I got so carried away with colouring this, but the kitty is coloured using 4120, 1150, 1250, 3110, 3125, 3150, 3180 and 3290 for the dark bits (I think!). For the water I used the Cool Greys which are very blue together with 7115 and 7119 and neutral grey. For the sky/clouds all I used was 9101 together with my blender pen to create the fluffy clouds. On the boat I just used Neutral Grey 9500, 9502 and 9505. If you do try to recreate this apologies if it's not the same as I'm trying to remember the colours and my memory isn't the best!

Kevin I have used this gorgeous image called Gracie from StampArt Design by Kathryne available from Whimsy stamps.

Iris:  My creation today shows 'Cute Cupid' from Whimsy Stamps Crissy Armstrong Digital Collection. Awww, look at those cheeks and chubby  arms and legs...sooo cute.
For the deeper shadows on his skin I used a light violet tone (6110) in addition to my usual skin colors.
