Week 2 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Blog Candy Giveaway

Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!

We have a new challenge every Friday at 8am GMT however all our challenges last for two weeks and the theme is always Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured or digitally coloured images.

This week we don't have a sponsor but we do have some blog candy for the lucky winner!

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

Also don't forget we are also always looking for people to guest spot on our DT. So if you would like to be considered as a GDT, after your name on your entry add the letters GDT.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  We'd like to welcome Maria as a Guest Designer for the next 3 months - have a look at her wonderful creation below!

Ruth:  I've used an image from Jellypark which sadly is no longer available and I've coloured it with Promarkers, hand writing the sentiment.  The papers are from my stash and I've not got a clue where they came from as I printed them quite some time ago!

Hello... Billie A here with my card.  Since we don't have a sponsor I decided to go through some old stamps I haven't used yet.. This was a winning stamp from years ago by Wag N Whiskers. I stamped the image and colored with copics. I used a white gel pen to give some texture to the images. I went through some scraps and found some fun bright colors and pieced a background. The sentiment is also from this set. When it was done the background behind the image looked too plain so I used Stampin up itty bitty background dots

Hi everyone, Lynsey here, today I have decided to show you a card I created using a Sasayaki glitter image.  I was asked to do a special male card and loved creating this.  I have coloured all with copics and used DSP which came in a pack for the backgrounds.  I have just added some brads to add to the effect.   Hope you like it, happy new year colour crazy friends xx

Maria: Using digital Stamp Treadmill Tina  colored with Copic this stamp and of DR. Doctor Digi .

Dawn Frost Guest DT featuring Oriental Poppy from Aurora Wings. I kept it very simple, its
coloured with copic markers, dark brown liquid pearls are in the centre and orange stickles to finish the petals off.

Hello, Sherry here with a card I made using the beautiful 'Aloha, Lady' by 'Ching-Chou Kuik'. I colored the image with colored pencils, used patterned papers, a butterfly die cut, twine, flower, stamens and flatback pearls.

Hi it's Margo I have made a card with an image by Conie Fong this week.  I have chosen Flowers on the Beach.  I have coloured her with my Copic markers and used a stencil from Dutch Doobadoo for the cardshape. The papers I have used are from Stampin'Up and the cute sea animals are dies from Marianne Design.

Just fabulous as always!

Ruth:  I've used the Sakura digi stamp and coloured with Promarkers.  I've used a paper from the Itsy Ditsy 6x6 pad from Stampin' Unicorn, lightly distressing it around the edges.

Hello.. Billie A here with my card. I am using the image called Butterfly moth flower kimono image. I colored the image with copics and using My favorite things circle die. I went around the edge with Quick Quote chalk ink. I added some Wink of Stella to the wings. I stenciled the background and finished the card with the sentiment from Simon Says and added a small Stampin up glitter butterfly.

Hello again, It's Jackie here with a card made with the beautiful Blue Sea Illusion from our fabulous sponsor Ching Chou Kuik. I coloured her with pencils. You can read more about the details HERE.

Hello, Sherry here with a card I made using 'Blue Sea Illusion' by 'Ching-Chou Kuik'. I colored the image with colored pencils and cut her out with a frame die. Next I taped the patterned paper and the image onto the card. Then glued the vine die cuts and flowers on.

Hello from Elizabeth. My card is designed around a beautiful image from our sponsor,
Ching-Chou Kuik and is called Blue Sea Illusion.  For this card, I colored the image with Copic Markers and added Liquid Pearls in white and gold. I fussy cut the image and mounted on a die cut. The card is adorned with ribbon, flowers and butterflies.

Hello this is Melle Clef. I've used  Blue Sea Illusion. I've turned this lovely sea creature into a christmas fairy. I used aqua markers and a lot of wink of stella to color the beautiful mermaid.

Marjeta: Hello dear Crafters.  Welcome to the first challenge at Colour Crazy in 2019. For my product, I used the Ching-Chou Kuik  sponsorship stamp and coloured it with Prismacolor Pencils.

Butterfly and dress: Mulberry, Pink, Canary Yellow, Process Red, Chartreuse, Grass Green

Hello it is Margaret.  It is not my turn this week but I love Ching-Chou Kuik stamps so I have joined in using the lovely Ching-Chou Kuik digi stamp Sakura which I have coloured with chalks, markers and glitter gel pens.  Layered onto papers from We are 3 Vintage Bird paper collection
Sentiment from We are 3 Birthday Wishes sentiment set

Janet here with my first challenge of 2019. I used the Sakura from Ching-Chou Kuik. I have coloured her with Polychromo Pencils and have gone for a vintage monotone colouring with greys. I have added lots of elements to this card in the way of die cuts, metal flowers and a big bow, but I think is adds to the vintage feel of the card.

Hi again - It's Vic. I have popped over to share with you my card this week. We have the lovely sponsor: Ching chou Kuik, and I got the image "Blue Sea Illusion."  A beautiful image to colour. Ruth:  I've used a clear acrylic stamp - Gnome Santa - Naughty or Nice and coloured it up with Promarkers.  I've added the stamped panel to a card blank and added a faux running stitch around the edges.  I also stamped the sentiment and then added it to an offcut of red card from my stash.

Hello, Kathy here with my first post as a Guest DT. [And I am thrilled to be with this amazing Team!] My card is made with the image  'Ruby Birthday Cake' by Polkadoodles. Ruby is colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and white gel pen highlights. I like using vellum on my cards and this one is no exception. I cut circles of both pink and regular vellum with white swirls to layer under the sentiment so that her flouncy skirt can peek through. The candle glow is also a circle of vellum with details sketched on with a yellow marker. For more details, stop by my blog

Hello.. Billie A here with my card using the image Ruby birthday cake.
I love black and white stripes so thought I would use this from My favorite things. I found this purple/pink paper from Stampin up and when with these colors to color the image with copics. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. The sentiment is embossed and from Simon says. I added some Stampin up bling to the black and white paper.. You can see more on my card on my blog at Billie A

Hello, Sherry here using the beautiful 'Robin Gift Branch' by Polkadoodles.  The image is colored with colored pencils and cut out with a frame die. Fussy cut the image out around the square part, then taped it to another die cut frame. Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the center of the card and taped it on. Then taped the image onto the card. Glued three flatback pearls in two corners of the frame and on the berries.

Hello, Sherry here again, using the beautiful 'Ruby Birthday Cake' by Polkadoodles.  The image is colored with colored pencils. Used a background die on a piece of patterned paper and taped it to the center of the card. Then used a distressing tool around the image and added distress oxide ink and distress ink on it. Next I taped the image, vines, flowers, butterfly and sentiment onto the card. Then glued flatback pearls on.

Hi there, it's Margo here. I have used the adorable Robin Gift Branch by Polkadoodles.  I have coloured the image with my copic markers.  I have used my snow marker for the bonnet of the robin and have used some older papers and a white base card. I have used just some rhinestones in the corners to decorate as I wanted the digi to draw all the attention.

Silke: I have used  the sweet image Robin Gift Branch from Polkadoodles. The image is coloured with copics and cut out with a frame die from Die-namics.  Added a piece of design paper from Stampin Up on the card. Cuted out a border  with the die cut from Die-namics and added this behind a stripe of cardstock. A stripe of vellum  was laid over it. Than a glimmer snowflake border  was punched out with a die from Stampin Up and was fixed on the stripe. Next I taped the image and the sentiment from My Favorite Things on the card and decorated the card with sequins at the end.

Melle Clef : Today I am showing you a 2 Christmas cards I've made with the gorgeous digistamp : Winnie Angel Decorations up. I colored it with alcohol markers and added a lot of wink of stella. To create my cards I simply used several Christmas papers and die cuts.

Hello it is Margaret and this is my second guest designer card. I have also used Winnie Decorations Up which I have coloured with markers and glitter gel pens and added precoloured baubles and rhinestones.

Hello, it's Carole here with my second Guest DT card. I was lucky to receive a digi stamp to work with and I chose the beautiful Robin Gift Branch by Polkadoodles. Little Winnie and her robin were coloured with Copic markers and given some white Posca pen highlights and some Glossy Accent holly berries. The image background was inked with Memento Desert Sand. I teamed the image with some snowflake paper and some gold textured paper.  For more details, please visit my blog.

Hello! Hanna here with a decorated Toffifee box. I've used Winnie Angel - Gift of Christmas. How adorable! I've coloured her with Distress Inks. The patterned paper is an oldie from the Nordic Holiday Collection by Basic Grey.

Hi it's Janet, with my last card for 2018. I've Used the Polkadoodles image 2 cute Christmas Penguins. I've coloured them with alcohol pens, they have been put on a fold back card. I have also used a die cut sentiment, some candy dots and a big bow with a charm.

Hi, it is Lou with my last card for 2018. As with some of my team mates, I have used the Polkadoodles image 2 cute Christmas Penguins. I combined them in my Silhouette Cameo software, but then my Silhouette is playing up and will not cut properly! So I had to fussy cut around the image after I had coloured with Copics markers and a bit of Wink of Stella. I have used a Kraft card and for more details, please visit my blog at JemLou Productions. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a good slide into the New Year!

Jane - I have used lots of Polkadoodles goodies on my project today and I've given it a mixed media feel!  The main image is a clear stamp called Gnome - 25 December and I have coloured with watercolour paints. Links and further details on my blog.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Ruth:  I've used this cute acrylic stamp Gnome-men Snow Ho Ho and coloured it up with Promarkers.  I've added glitter glue to the snow bubbles and then added the sentiment.  I layered the stamped panel onto the card blank after doodling a line around the edge with a black fineliner pen.

Hello.. Billie A here with my card using the image called Winnie angel Christmas tree.  I found this awesome candy cane background paper and thought this looked cute and girly. I colored the image with copics and using My favorite things square stitch die. I added the Paper trey sentiment and a few half pearls. I also added some bling as berries to the holly and Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. You can see more on my card at my blog Billie A

NanaConnie - I love this "Forest Friends" image from Polkadoodles.  I colored with ProMarkers and used dies from Spellbinders (frame & snowflake) and Die-Versions (sentiment.)   I added loose glitter to her halo and wings  and Stickles 'Frosted Lace' to the fur on her dress and scarf.

Hello, Sherry here: I used the beautiful 'Primrose The Darling Buds' by Polkadoodles.
I printed out the image with extra flowers and colored them with colored pencils. Then fussy cut around the image and each of the flowers. After cutting out the patterned paper with a frame die and cutting the background patterned paper to fit the card, I taped them on. I put foam mounting tape on back of the image and added her to the card. Then put foam mounting tape on back of the flowers and added them in place on the image. Next I glued a flatback pearl in the center of each flower and on each corner of the frame. Then glued the sentiment and butterfly die cuts in place.

Hello it's Melle Clef. I used the pretty Winnie Angel "Woodland Songtime" to make a greeting card. I didn't add a sentiment on it, as in France, we usually don't send christmas cards but we send most of our greeting cards in january to wish a happy new year.  I watercolored the cute digistamp, and made vintage card with distressed and inked paper and embellishments. I finally glued 3 foam roses.

Hi there, it's Margo I have used the adorable Primrose, The Darling Buds from Polkadoodles.
I have coloured her with my copic markers and made the background also with copic markers and some alcohol solution. Kept the card very simple, just added the text that says :
The journey is often more beautiful than the destination, enjoy it !

Hi everyone, Lynsey here, today I'm showing you Winnie angel Christmas tree  I think she adorable and she is coloured with copic markers and covered with lots of clear sparkly glitter glue.  Added to traditional papers with some vintage lace and Im happy with her.  Was so much fun to colour.  I hope you see your images in our challenge. xx

Hello.  This is Kym here.  For my Christmas card I have used the Polkadoodles image called "Snowman - Winnie Angel".  The backing papers are from my Polkadoodles Here Comes Christmas CD.  The Promarkers that I have used are:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Khaki, Pastel Beige and Caramel
Wings - Blush and Putty
Coat/flowers/hat/bow/snowman's hat/scarf - Lipstick Red, Red, Poppy Red, Leaf Green and Bright Green
Snowman - Ice Grey 1, Ice Grey 2, Blender pen, Umber and Canary.

Hi Dawn Frost here and this is my last card as Guest DT, its been lovely! I used Polkadoodles Winnie Angel - Decorations Up, she's so gorgeous! I coloured her with copics, (took 5 times to colour her the way I wanted, lol) and added a glitter pen to different areas. I used shimmer white for the background.

Good Morning / Afternoon Coloring enthusiasts.. AJ here. Showcasing a Winter / Christmas Card featuring Winnie Angel and her Forest Friends. I went with semi-non traditional colors for this holiday card.. To see more detail, please visit my blog post @ Forest Friends Winnie Angel.

Janet here, I've used the Polkadoodles image called Robin Gift Branch from the Winter Winnie collection. I've coloured her with alcohol pens and put some Wink of Stella glitter pen on the wings. Such a cute image I really enjoyed colouring her.

Tammy here, I've created this card using the Polkadoodles image called "Snowman - Winnie Angel" as well.  I knew for this card I really wanted to go with the traditional red/green color scheme and so I just used some Recollection paper that i had in my stash.  I added some snowflakes that I recently picked up at the $$ store which I just love!  I colored her with my copics and then added a strip of washi and a word sticker to finish it off.  For a little extra fun, I did one edge in a fun border punch.

Some wonderful inspiration!
