Week 45 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Sponsored by Ching-Chou Kuik

Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!

Our weekly challenge theme is always Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.

This week our sponsor is Ching-Chou Kuik

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry.  Good luck!

Ruth:  I've used the pretty Winter Snowflake image and used Promarkers to colour plus some glitter glue.  The papers are all oddments I found in my stash and I have a feeling they are really old Polkadoodles that I printed from a cd or download a long time ago.  The vellum, gems, ribbon, embroidery thread and charm are all from my stash.

Helloooooo, it's Jackie here. I used the image Christmas Cuddle from our fabulous sponsor Ching Chou Kuik. I coloured with her with pencils. She is added to a piece of cardstock I had used a corner die on. I placed some CS I had made with Pixie Powders. A words die and flowers finish the card.  You can see more details HERE.

Hello ... It's Billie A here with my card using the fun image called Winter Snowflake.. I colored the image with copics. I went over the wings with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added the image to a piece of designer Christmas paper. I stamped the Simon Says banner and sentiment and fussy cut out..  I added some sequin snowflakes and Nuvo drops.  If you click on my name it will take you to my blog.  Thank you.

Hi everyone. Hope you are keeping well. It’s Janine here. I am so pleased that we are again being sponsored by Ching-Chou Kuik. This time I have chosen the image called Winter Snowflake. I love colouring fairy images and this one was no exception. I have used my Spectrum Noir Illustrators. The wings and snowflake have been coated with Spectrum Noir Clear sparkle but the photo doesn’t do this justice. The snowflake backing paper is from my stash and plain papers are my favourite American Card Craft paper from their winter collection. The holographic snowflakes and gems were from The Works. The sentiment was foiled using my Scan and Cut machine and seemed to be perfect for this image and the Winter season. Keep warm everyone!

Hiya  Louise here, Todays card is my 3rd and final Guest designer card It has been a pleasure taking part for the last 3 months. Thanks guys for allowing me to join in.  The gorgeous digi image is from Ching-Chou Kuik and is so beautiful! It is called 'Christmas Cuddle' I have coloured her using Promarkers and kept to traditional reds and greens on this card. I used some freebie papers I have had for a while, and die cut the greeting using 'Christmas sentiment' dies from Stephanie Weightman/Hobbycraft. Then attached some ribbon and a Christmas charm, another freebie from a while ago. Thanks Louise

Hi there, Margo here, this week our fabulous sponsor is Ching-Chou Kuik and I have coloured Winter Snowflake with my copic markers, added some Distress Vintage Photo to the edges and stamped with the same colour some swirls.  The paper I have used is from Maja Design Holiday in the Alps.

Hello. This is Kym here. For my Christmas card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Winter Snowflake".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, used inks for the background and added lots of glitter for some added sparkle.  The backing papers I have used are from a Creative Crafting World Christmas CD so I could match the colours I had used in the image as best I could.  I have finished the card off with some lace, die-cut snowflakes and a sentiment tag.

Hello, Donna here with my Guest Designer Project.   I created an A2 sized card in non traditional Holiday colors using Winter Snowflake.  I die cut a large panel for the background and die cut the focal image, which I popped up on foam pads.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, added Wink of Stella to her wings and placed some clear drops for additional interest.

Hello everyone, it's Sarah here with my take on Christmas Cuddle, such a lovely image that would also make a rather nice Winter Birthday card. I coloured her with Promarkers and added some sparkle and pearls for the festive season.

Just fabulous as always!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry.  Good luck!

Ruth:  I've merged two images from the Snowmen Set 02 to create this scene.  I've used promarkers to colour and a fair bit of glitter too.  Papers are really old ones from my stash (had a tidy up a while ago and was horrified as to how many paper pads I actually had!) plus some offcuts for layers.  Sentiment printed on my computer and then added.

Hello.. It's Billie A here with my fun card for this challenge.  I am using the Bugaboo stamp image called Snowman set 02.  I colored the image with copics. I used Ranger ink and my cloud template. I added to a piece of scrap paper and stamped the Simon says sentiment. Finished with some snowflake sequins, Nuvo drops and some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.. Click on my name to see more over at my blog.  Thank you.

Hello, it's Maryann ! This is my third participation as a Guest Designer. I chose this heartwarming hug image between a snowman and a little penguin from "Snowman Set 02" by our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps. It is colored with my Prismacolor. I chose this Christmas paper from an old French Atilolou-Flo Design collection and added some cutouts and a beautiful red mother-of-pearl heart button. You will find more information on my blog by clicking on my name. Good visit.

HI there, Margo here with my card for this week.  I have coloured Snowman Set 02 from our fabulous sponsor Bugaboo with my copic markers. I did not add any papers, just coloured this week.

Hey friends!  Marie here with my card for this week using this adorable image from Snowman Set 02.  It was so hard to choose which snowman to use from this set, as they all are so darn cute!  I used Copics to color the image, and cut it using the second largest Spellbinders Labels One die.  I cut the mat from pink card stock using the Scalloped Labels One die that coordinated in size with the image panel.  The patterned paper comes from an un-named Recollections 8.5x11 pack of Christmas paper.  The sentiment is from last year's Stamptember collaboration set from Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp.

Hi there, Dawn here sharing my Bugaboo image. I chose to use DeDe Christmas Present and really add the bling. I coloured DeDe with copic markers and then used a sakura glitter gel pen and stickles on her.
The card really shimmers IRL, sweet!

Hello - it's Helen here with my card for today's new challenge.  I've used one of the images from the very cute Snowman Set 02 from Bugaboo Stamps available here.  I coloured the image using my Promarkers and added some patterned papers and a snowflake embellishment with gems to finish the card.

Just fabulous as always!

Hello.. It's Billie A here with my card using the image called Country Christmas by Createful Heart.
I used copics to color the image. I stamped the Merry Christmas by Denami designs. I added to a piece of scrap and then to the card base.. Click on my name to see more on my blog.  Thank you

This is Elizabeth sharing my card called Harvey Hedgehog and Bradford Bee from Createful heart designs.  This card was colored with copics. The image was die cut along with the bow at the bottom. Seems like ages since I used some brads so I added two to the sides. The die cut outline was embellished with liquid pearls. A cute button with some twine was included along with a cute saying.

Janet here, I've also used Harvey Hedgehog and Bradford bee  from Createful Heart designs. Ive coloured him using Polychromo pencils. Just for a change I decided to put the image inside the card. It's a gatefold card base decorated with patterned paper and inked die cuts. Then the image is waiting for you inside.

Hi all! It's Vic again - here to share my card with you this week. I used the image called Harvey Hedgehog from Createful heart designs. I coloured him with my promarkers and other alcohol pens. The sentiment was a freebie on the web, years ago. All the papers on this card were freebies with magazines over the years.  I used a diecut swirl / leaf up the side, and some punched (Martha Stewart ) butterflies finished this card.

Hi! Marjeta here! I would like to show you my new - Christmas themed card. I used image called Country Christmas from Createful heart designs. I coloured with Promarkers. I added few snowflakes to create a winter scene. The stamp and cutting templates of the deer that I received  from Holley this year, nicely complement the scene.

AuntySue here. For my card I have made a Christmas card with this wonderful Santa called Checking it Twice. I have coloured with promarkers and used various dies and Chipboard Stocking. For more information please pop along to my blog

Ruth:  I've used Spirit of the Sea, coloured with Promarkers and added dollops of glitter to her tail.  The colours are a lot more punchy in real life - looks a bit dull and flat here!  Sentiment comes with the digi.

Helloooooo, it's Jackie here. I used the image Nixie~Spirit of the sea, from our fabulous sponsor  Oddball Stamps. I coloured with pencils then fussy cut the image and sentiment. I placed her in a lifebelt die cut. The Dp is Craft Sensations.  You can see more details HERE.

Hellooo... It's Billie A here.. If you click on my name it will take you to my card.. I am using the image from Oddball.. Nixi spirit of the sea mermaid   I created the background using watercolor paints. I set it aside to dry. I then colored the image with Paul Ruben metallic watercolors. I fussy cut her out and added some My favorite things sea life and few other die greenery.

Hello! Kathy here sharing a card that features a wonderful a trio of digis from Oddball Arts named Boo Babies. I wanted to include all three of the creepy-cute little guys and came up with an unusual idea… that involved a door on the front of the card and the Boo Babies "trick or treating”  inside of the card. The computer-generated sentiments are compliments of my quirky sense of humor. (My hubby especially likes the mummy!)

Hi There! Pam here ~ bringing you another version of Oddball Arts ~ Whimsical Big Eye Mermaid Nixie Spirit of the Sea Image #320.   For my card I concentrated on coloring the mermaid using Copic markers and fussy cut her out.  I added the Beloved Heart die from Memory Box - cause we know mermaids hearts are overflowing with love too!

Hello Margaret here.  I used Oddball Art digi stamp and sentiment 320 Nixie Spirit of the sea which I coloured with markers.  For the background I used paper and coloured elements from Digital Scrapbooking Studio

Hello! Hanna here with a Halloween card for you using the Creepy Cute Boo Babies by Oddball Art. I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir Classic Markers. I used Glossy Accents on the boo babies eyes. I decorated the card with tiny alpha stickers and black rhinestones.

Hello, Silke here. For my inspiration card I used the little Dracula from our sponsor Oddball Art. On a white paper a blue sky was wiped with a little sponge. The paper was attached to a card and in front of it a strip of black grass. Two bats were stamped in the sky The moon was stamped on a yellow paper, die-cut out in a circle and placed in the night sky together with many small stars. A die-cut black tree was attached to the card. The little Dracula was coloured with Copics, cut out and fixed on the card. Finally the sentiment was hot embossed.

Ruth:  I've used Balloon Kitty, coloured with Promarkers and then found some random papers in my stash that matched the colour theme.  The flowers I also found in a drawer and the die cut sentiment is from X Cut.

Hi! Vic here! I'm not on this team usually, but with Knitty Kitty designs sponsoring us this week, I could not resist this challenge (so I could use one of their images)!  I got "Kit and treat"  and couldn't wait to get started with this one. I coloured the image with my promarkers and a few other alcohol pens. I used papers from 3 different 6 x 6 paper packs, as I wanted halloweeny colours. I hand-wrote the 'BOO!' sentiment and added diecut stars and little coloured gems.

Helloooooo, it's Jackie here. I used the image Kit or Treat from our fabulous sponsor Knitty Kitty. I added the sentiment. I coloured with pencils. I used a Spiders web emb. folder and fab Dps.I used word stickers from the same pack. You can see more details HERE.

Hello... It's Billie A and if you click on my name it will take you to my blog to see more on my card.
I used the image called Kitty Balloons.  I used My minds eye designer paper and scraps. Simon says thin frame die and Tech. Tues. sentiment. The image is colored with copics and used a white gel pen.

Hello everyone.  This is Kym here.   For my Halloween inspired card I have used The Knitty Kitty image called "Kit or Treat - Image No 36".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot distress ink.  I have used some scraps of Halloween papers that I have stamped with ink splats/arrows/dots.  I have finished the card off with some die-cut ghosts, pumpkins cut from a backing papers and Polkadoodles Halloween sentiments.

Hi it’s Janine here. I am so pleased to be continuing on this talented design team. The image I have used this month is from Knitty Kitty Digi’s. This image is called Balloon Kitty. As we are heading towards Halloween I thought I would use this as my theme for this image. I have added some little friendly ghost and bat embellishments that I cut using my scan and cut machine. I added a little pumpkin as halloween would not be complete without one! I have chosen traditional Halloween colours of purple, red and orange. I hope you like it and I can’t wait to see your entries this month.

Hello, Donna and I'm extending my stay for another 3 months as a Guest Designer with the team.  I'm super excited about it and looking forward to creating some fun projects.  I had the pleasure of creating this fun Birthday Card using Balloon Kitty from Knitty Kitty.  Please stop by my blog to read more about my project.

Hiya,  Louise Here this is my 2nd guest designer card And this weeks Challenge The Digi image is from Knitty Kitty Digi's  and is called Balloon Kitty. I have coloured it using my Promarkers, and used some matching colour papers, and a couple of balloon brads, the text are some rub ons. I do think it is such a cute Digi image, very versatile don't you think?. Thanks Louise

Hello! Kathy here sharing a card that features a wonderful image from Knitty Kitty named Balloon Kitty. This versatile digi comes with two versions. I used the one without strings, adding pretty colored twine to provide texture. I sponged the clouds with a stencil and added transparent color to the balloons by tracing them onto thin colored plastic (from document folders you can find in the school/office section of stores.) After a bit of fussy-cutting with sharp scissors, they can be attached to the balloons with a bit of double-stick tape. So fun!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry.  Good luck!

Ruth:  I've used the fab Bob's Balloons and used Promarkers to colour.  Decided to make a DL card for a change so it gave me plenty of white space which I broke up with a sentiment tag and some bakers twine.

Hello... Billie A   I am using this fun image from Dr. Digi called Caffeinated Craig. I colored him with copics and using copics created the background wall. I used Lil Inker stitch die. For the sentiment I stamped Tech. Tues. sentiment and using Stampin up die cut it out. I stapled the twine on to make it look like a hanging plaque. I added the brad to look like the nail head.  I went over the coffee and donut icing with glossy accents.

Hi friends, Marie here!  I chose to use this awesome Selfie Santa  image for my card this month because, well there's a snowman in it!  I love all things snowman related, both in card making and in decorating my house.  :)  I used the Silhouette software to size my image and create the sentiment using a font called Frosty.  I thought this would be totally perfect with this fun image!  The image is colored with alcohol markers, and I added accents with gel pens in white and clear shimmer.  The cell phone screen was covered in Glossy Accents.

Hello it's Maryann ! Here is my second participation as a Guest Designer. I chose "Selfie Santa" a funny image of our sponsor Dr. Digi's that I colored with my Prismacolor Premier. I present it to you in the form of a tag with a beautiful UHK Gallery Christmas paper and various embellishments. You will find more information on my blog. Thank you for your visit.

Hello! Kathy here sharing a card that features a wonderful image from Doctor Digi named Dimble the Ale Destroyer. I colored Dimble, his arsenal of weapons, and his beverage with Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura white gel pen. This card is being sent to my hubby’s best friend who turns 65 in a few months. We know that he’ll get a laugh out of the image and computer-generated sentiment. (Note- The inside sentiment reads, “Oh, and you are old. Happy Geezer Day!”)

Hi friends - it's Michele! I used the adorable Selfie Santa from Doctor Digi (so many incredible images). I colored the image with Copics and kept the rest of the card very simple. Quite some time ago, I was gifted puffy paint - the bottle doesn't even have a label and was shipped internationally, I dug it out to add lots of snow to the scene. If you look closely, you can see I added HO HO HO to the phone screen, that's his screen saver - LOL! You can see more details on my blog, Whimsical Creations.

HI everyone, it's Margo here.  This week I have had so much fun colouring up Selfie Santa from our fabulous sponsor Doctor Digi.  I have coloured him and his cool friend with my copic markers and just added on cardbase.

Hello everyone - it's Helen here with my card for this week.  I've used the fabulous 'Pilates Pat' digi stamp from Dr Digi's House of Stamps - you can find her here on the website.  I coloured the image with my Promarkers and added a computer generated sentiment.

Hi everyone, Dawn here with my Caffeinated Craig digi! I coloured him with copic markers, popped up the coffee mug and slipper then fussy cut him. I found the sentiment a couple of years ago and as soon as I saw Craig I knew he was perfect, lol!

Just fabulous as always!
