Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!
Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes
You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.
This week our sponsor is StarJamLines
Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.
We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry. Good luck!
We'd like to invite the following to join us for three months:
So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.
Hello ... Billie A here with my card using the cute image called Newborn Bear from Star Jam Lines. I created the clouds with my cloud template and Ranger ink. I then colored the image with copics. I added Nuvo drops to the stars in the blanket and the dots on the balloon. I finished with the Taylored Expression sentiment. You can see more on my card by clicking on my name. Thank You
Hi! Hanna here with a card using Gnome cooks by Star Jam Lines. The image is coloured with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers. I have used Distress Inks in Pumice Stone, Weathered Wood and Faded Jeans and the Numeric Layering Stencil by Tim Holtz and some opaque matte texture paste by Ranger to create my background. I wrote the sentiment on my computer using the free font KG Strawberry Limeade. I decorated the card with some rhinestones.
Hi, it is Louise here sharing my Newborn Bear card using the digi image Newborn Bear from StarJamLines. I have printed the image on to X-Press It Blending card and then coloured with Copics. I have added some additional clouds in the background, then adhered the coloured image to a slimline card from Envelope Solutions. The sentiment is a combination of sentiments from Power Poppy that I have stamped with Nautical Blue Memento ink. For more details, please check out my blog page here. Hope that you all join in the fun!
Hello Silke here. For my card I have used the dig newborn bear from our sponsor StarJamLines. The edges of the card were wiped with a sponge. Then a strip of dotted design paper was applied. Clouds were wiped on a paper with a stencil and then the paper was attached to the card. The little bear was coloured with Copic, cut out and fixed with dimensionals. Finally, some clouds, small stars made of glitter paper and the sentiment were added.
Ruth: I had to do a boy and a girl card so here they are! Using the cute Newborn Bear and coloured using Promarkers. Everything else is from my stash.
Just fabulous as always!
