Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!
Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes
You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
This week our sponsor is Hetty Clare
Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.
We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry. Good luck!
So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.
Ruth: I've used Birthday Chef from our sponsor and coloured him with Promarkers. Keeping the card simple, I've used up some old digital papers from my stash and some offcuts of thin card also from my stash.
Hello Billie A. here with my card. I am using the image called Birthday Chef from Hetty Clare. I colored the image with copics. I used Simon Says sentiments and stamped with Stampin up ink. If you click on my name it will take you to my blog and this card. Thanks.
Hello, Lou here with my card using To Us by Hetty Clare Art. I have coloured the image with Copics and a few glitter pens. I have then adhered the image to a white card from Envelope Solutions. I have also added a "Celebrate" sentiment that is part of a die from the May 2015 Club La-La Land Crafts kit that I die-cut three times from brown, black and red cardstock.
If you would like more details about my card, please click on my name to see the blog post.
I finished making this card just as Ash Barty was winning Wimbledon, so us sports mad Australians are celebrating into the wee hours of the morning and probably watching the sunrise!
Hello! Kathy here sharing a fun card that features a digi image from Hetty Clare named Birthday Chef with Candles. One reason I love using digis, is I can change the size of the image on my cards. For this card, I enlarged the digi, then cropped it to fit snuggly upon an A2-sized card front. I colored the happy chef and yummy cake with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. To provide the card with a crisp, clean feeling, I kept my coloring to a minimum with lots of white, adding the candle glow with die-cut circles of yellow and white vellum.
Hello, Silke here. For my card I used the image Birthday Chef from our sponsor Hetty Clare. First, a red design paper was applied to a card. A stencil was placed on a white paper and a wall was wiped with a sponge. This paper was attached to the card. The image was coloured with Copics, snipped out and placed in the centre of the card. Finally, the sentiment, two golden brick elements and some sequins were added.
Just fabulous as always!
