This week we are very kindly sponsored by Lemon Shortbread
Our sponsor is very generously giving the winner of this challenge the prize of 3 single digis from their store.
Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.
Also don't forget we are also always looking for people to guest spot on our DT. So if you would like to be considered as a GDT, after your name on your entry add the letters GDT.
So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.
Ruth: I've used Beanie Girl and coloured her up with Promarkers and then used papers that I found in my stash - for once I actually picked the papers before I coloured the image! I had a clear out over Christmas and found lots of printed papers that I'd forgotten I had, so I'm determined to use them up! The sentiment is an X Cut die and I've added ribbons from my stash.
Marjeta - Hello dear friend!
I would like to show you a gift box that I made for this challenge. I used sponsors (Lemon Shortbread) digital stamp - Hot Cuppa Girl. I coloured it with Prismacolor penciles:
- face: creme, burnt ochre, goldenrod
- hair: creme, yellow ochre, dark brown
- clothes: pouder blue, electric blue, true blue, lemon yellow, salmon pink
I embellished it with Crafty Ribbons ribbon, texture paste, different dies and lots of flowers.
Hello. This is Kym here. For my card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Beanie Girl". I coloured the image in with Promarkers. I have gone for a shabby chic style card so all card/papers have been distressed with my Tim Holtz distressing tool and a brown chalk ink pad rubbed along all the distressed edges. I have finished the card off with some ribbon under the lace, die-cut sentiment, banner, greenery, leaves, flower and a brad. The Promarkers I have used are:
Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Burnt Sienna, Chestnut and Henna
Dress/boots/hat - Salmon Pink, Antique Pink, Cocoa and Burnt Sienna.
Hi Everyone! Tammy here! Just wanted to share my card using the Hot Cuppa Girl from Lemon Shortbread. I colored her with just some basic markers. My DP is just some random sheets from swaps that I have received recently and I've paired it with a fun sentiment from My Favorite Things called Cup of Tea. I also added just a few Nuvo Drops in red to give it a bit of texture. I hope you like it!
Jill here....I made a box with Tag. And I colored her with Copic Marker.

Hiya - Vic here! I'm here to share my card this month, with my lovely image from
Lemon Shortbread - "fairy flower scent." I knew this would make a lovely card for my friends little girl, who was is about to turn 3. She was a delight to colour and I popped
her on a diecut stitched shape. I made a little ribbon shaped sentiment
and diecut the number 3 and her name.
The little penant on the top right hand side is also a diecut.
The backing paper came from a freebie paper pack. from Pink Petticoat (no longer trading). I coloured the fairy with my alcohol pens:-
Spectrum noirs: EB3, EB6, EB2, PL3, TN2, JG3.
Promarkers: rose pink, blossom, pastel yellow, canary.
Janet - My card for this challenge is using the Lemon Shortbread called Beanie Girl. I've coloured her with Copic pens. I have used a patterned paper from a old company called Magenta. Then lots of die cut page leaves to decorate.
Željka-Hello!!! For this week I used Beanie Girl from lemon shortbread and I colored the image with my ZIG clean color real brush pens (the colors I used will be listed on my blog). The blue paper is from my stash and yellow one is from Polkadoodles
