This is our last challenge for 2021 to give our wonderful Design Team a little break - join us again on 7 January when our first challenge of 2022 goes live!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week. Sadly we are saying goodbye to two of our team - Silke and Janet.  Thank you both for all your lovely creations over the years and we will miss you!

Ruth:  I've used Frosty Snowman Hugs and used Promarkers to colour.  Papers are very old printed ones from my stash that I'm trying to use up!

Hello, it's Maryann Scrap GD. I chose this adorable image of "Bella Bear with lots of Parcels" from our sponsor Polkadoodles, which I colored with my markers and it inspired me the holiday season, hence this beautiful paper of Xmas. And who says Christmas, says snowflakes and poinsettia! For more details, do not hesitate to consult my blog.

Hi there, Margo here and today I'm showing you a card with the cute Snowmen Frosty Hugs from our fabulous sponsor Polkadoodles. Did you know they have a superfun and easy to follow Youtube tutorial on colouring the cute snowmen? You can find it here, they have lot's of colouring tutorials if you are in need of some inspiration.

Hello! Kathy here sharing my DT card that features a sweet digi from Polkadoodles  named Bella Bear with Lots of Parcels. I printed the on white cardstock and used Spectrum Noir Classique Markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen to add color, shading and highlights. I fussy-cut the image, then adhered it to an upcycled calendar photo. The snowdrifts were created with simple torn paper, and snowflakes were added to the background with a white gel pen. The final touch was to add a bit of texture with Polar White Flower Soft.

Hello it's GDT Sarah, These I made, here with my card for this week's challenge.  I'm using Snowmen Frosty Hugs Too Cute from our fabulous sponsor Polkadoodles.  To make my card I printed the image onto Copic friendly paper, added a sentiment, and then coloured with my Copics.  I also added a turn of bakers of twine, mounted the image onto a red card matt and onto my card blank.  I also thought it might nice to show what's thought of as Christmas associated images don't just have to be for Christmas, so I made a winter birthday card.

Hello it's Helen here with my card for the challenge.  I used the very cute 'Bella Bear With Lots of Parcels/Gifts' coloured with my Promarkers,  I kept my layout nice and simple and added a stamped sentiment.

Hi Dawn here with my Polkadoodles Snowmen Frosty Hugs card, these two are so adorable! I coloured them with copic markers, and framed them in two colours, love how it turned out! I cut out the birds and popped them up and added stickles to the background. The inside of the card says "From Our House to Yours, Merry Christmas!"

Just fabulous as always!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  Please give a warm welcome to Roberta who joins us as a Guest Designer for three months!

Ruth:  I've used the rather cute Beary Fun Sleigh ride and used Promarkers to colour.  The paper is one that I've had for a really really long time and the dots are all glittered.  The glitter star and the tinsel are from my stash (equally as old!)

Hi, this is Elizabeth at Warm Harted bringing you a card from our sponsor Digi Doodles Studios. The image is called Beary Fun Sleigh Ride. It was very fun to create with Copic Markers, a Tim Holtz frame, snowflakes, and pearls

Hi - Vic here! I've popped in to show you a card I made using Digi doodles Jolly O'l Sparky Snowman.
I coloured him with my alcohol markers, added some christmassy papers behind him and a little strip of bulbs along the top and bottom. I used some glitter drops  whcih don't show too well on the photo, on the snowy parts, too. A die-cut spring of holly and a little present at the bottom, finished this card.

Hi! I'm Roberta and for the next three months I will be a guest of the team.  I am very happy and I hope you like my projects!  I used this cute digital from Digi Doodle Studios, they are three bears having fun in the snow Beary fun sleigh ride  You can find more details here.

Hello, Marjeta here. I want to show you my new card. I used image from Digi Doodles Studios, who is sponsoring our Challenge. Image is called Beary Fun Sleigh Ride. I colored it with Promarkers and frame it. For background I used DP from Craft Sensations.

Hello... It's Billie A here with my card.. I am using the image Jolly Ol' Sparky. I colored with copics and used sequin snowflakes and Nuvo drops. You can see more on my card by clicking on my name.

Janet - I decided to be a little rustic for this card and made it in mostly reds and browns. The image is from our sponsor Digi Doodle Studio and is called Jolly Ol' Sparky snowman. I've coloured him with polychromo pencils. I've added a little fake snow to parts of the image.

Dawn here with my Digi Doodles Jolly Ol' Sparky Snowman and I too decided to do him in rustic colours. I used all colours from copic markers in the E family. The reds in the bird are E07,08,09 and berries are E37, 39. The green of the leaf and birds hat are E84, 87, 89 (I love these colours!) His arms, legs and jacket are E30, 31, 33, 35. The hat, mitts, scarf and boots are E 40's family. The only other colour family I used was W-0,1,3 for the shading on the snow.

Pam here, joining in with my version of Jolly Ol' Sparky Snowman ~ dressed in blues ~ and made into a slimline Christmas card today.  I've added a scalloped heart with the sentiment 'You Melt My Heart' because as you can tell from all these Design Team cards ~ We all loved Sparky!  Thank you Digi Doodle for your sponsorship!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  Please give a warm welcome to Sarah who is joining us as a Guest Designer for 3 months!  I think one of my life goals should be to have a pink chair like Knitty Nora!!

Ruth:  Using an old favourite - Selfie Santa and used Promarkers to colour.  The papers are positively ancient and are no longer available from Funky Hand - trying to use up all the bits n bobs I have in my stash!

Hello everyone I'm Sarah, from These I Made, with my first GDT make for the Challenge.  I've used the brilliant Knitty Nora from our fabulous sponsor Doctor Digi and coloured her with my Copics. I decided to make a fairly simple card as I felt the image should take pride of place and so only added a small amount of patterned paper and a little paper trim, with a fun sentiment, to finish off.

Pam here today with Ambrose, King of the Road from our sponsor Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. I've colored the image with Copic markers and used a 'map' patterned paper to cover the 5 1/2 x 6" card base.  I cut the sentiment in the shape of an arrow and matted it with the same olive paper as the colored image.  Once all the layers were secured, I added the sentiment across the bottom and the metal STOP sign embellishment in the top left corner.

Hello! Kathy here sharing my DT card that features a fun digi from Dr. Digi named Knitty Nora. I printed the image twice on both white cardstock and on patterned paper.  Then colored them with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers, adding highlights with Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen and a white colored pencil, I fussy-cut then paper pieced the image, layering sections with foam tape to add depth. A little tedious, but I do like the final card! The sentiments are computer-generated.

Hi, Silke here! For my card I used the image Naughty or Nice from the sponsor Dr. Digi. A satin ribbon was wrapped around a design paper and both were attached to a card. The motif was coloured with Copics, punched out with a die and fixed to the card with Dimensionals. Finally, a Christmas tree, the sentiment and some red rhine stones were added.

Hi Lou here with Ambrose, King of the Road from our sponsor Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. I haven't coloured a car before, but I had heaps of fun making it all rusty!! I used some inspiration from Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesomMonthly Classes and Bonus classes colouring with Copics.
Further details on my blog post.

Just fabulous as always!

Hello, It's Louise here, my card this week is using a lovely digi image from this weeks sponsor Chuing- Chou kuik. It is called Snowflake Dollie.  I have coloured her using some promarkers and some Sakura glitter pens. And also added some fine glitter. The die cut trees are some new ones I purchased a while ago, and the Greeting is the left over from a die cut and backed it onto double sided sheet, then sprinkled glitter to fill in the letters. I thought it looked a little like a moon. Background is matted onto silver mirri card.

Ruth:  I've used this really cute Bunny Christmas digi and coloured it with Promarkers.  The papers are really old ones from my stash and I've added various die cuts from block coloured card, silver card and vellum

Hello folks, this is Sally Bee Card Designs here.  Today, I chose this lovely image from Lee Holland Art.  I coloured this cute little bunny with my Stampin Up blends.  I also chose some lovey backing papers from my crafty stash.  So pleased how he turned out.

Hello, this is Maryann Scrapboking GD. I chose this adorable "Penguins hugging" image courtesy of our sponsor Lee Holland Art. This couple entwined on their ice floes reminded me of an end-of-year greetings card. I colored it with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.  Please feel free to visit my blog for more information, by clicking on my name.

Hi there, Margo here and I made a card this week with the adorable Penguins Hugging from our fabulous sponsor Lee Holland Art.  I have had so much fun colouring them with my Copic Markers.
I have used some papers from Stampin'Up and dies from Marianne Design to finish my card.

Hello  Billie A here with my card using this fun Bunny Christmas image. I decided to make this a fun winter sweater card.. I colored with copics. I die cut the image added to the scrap pieced background. I added the My favorite things sentiment and used the Tech. Tues. die. I finished with an epoxy heart.. If you click on my name it will take you to this card on my blog.

Hi Dawn here with my card using Lee Holland's Penguins Hugging. I coloured the image with copic markers and added stickles and rhinestones to the image as well as the background paper. The final touches were the gray embossed background with the snowflake die and rhinestone, then ribbon.

Kathy here sharing my DT card that features a sweet digi from Lee Holland Art named Bunny Christmas. I attempted to give the bunny a “velveteen rabbit” sheen by adding texture to his fur with white colored pencil strokes atop a few shades of light tan marker. (I hope the little cutie looks love worn and not just shabby!) The circular sentiment is a freebie from Birdscards. You can find it HERE

Hello from Helen - I have used the very cute 'Bunny Christmas' digi stamp from Lee Holland Art to make my card.  I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then die cut into a scalloped stitched design.  I kept my design very simple using some text paper and a wooden snowflake embellishment.
