Welcome to the Colour Crazy Challenge!
Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes
You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.
This week our sponsor is Lee Holland Art
Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.
We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry. Good luck!
So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.
Ruth: I've used this really cute Bunny Christmas digi and coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are really old ones from my stash and I've added various die cuts from block coloured card, silver card and vellum
Hello folks, this is Sally Bee Card Designs here. Today, I chose this lovely image from Lee Holland Art. I coloured this cute little bunny with my Stampin Up blends. I also chose some lovey backing papers from my crafty stash. So pleased how he turned out.
Hello, this is Maryann Scrapboking GD. I chose this adorable "Penguins hugging" image courtesy of our sponsor Lee Holland Art. This couple entwined on their ice floes reminded me of an end-of-year greetings card. I colored it with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. Please feel free to visit my blog for more information, by clicking on my name.
Hi there, Margo here and I made a card this week with the adorable Penguins Hugging from our fabulous sponsor Lee Holland Art. I have had so much fun colouring them with my Copic Markers. I have used some papers from Stampin'Up and dies from Marianne Design to finish my card.
Hello Billie A here with my card using this fun Bunny Christmas image. I decided to make this a fun winter sweater card.. I colored with copics. I die cut the image added to the scrap pieced background. I added the My favorite things sentiment and used the Tech. Tues. die. I finished with an epoxy heart.. If you click on my name it will take you to this card on my blog.
Hi Dawn here with my card using Lee Holland's Penguins Hugging. I coloured the image with copic markers and added stickles and rhinestones to the image as well as the background paper. The final touches were the gray embossed background with the snowflake die and rhinestone, then ribbon.
Kathy here sharing my DT card that features a sweet digi from Lee Holland Art named Bunny Christmas. I attempted to give the bunny a “velveteen rabbit” sheen by adding texture to his fur with white colored pencil strokes atop a few shades of light tan marker. (I hope the little cutie looks love worn and not just shabby!) The circular sentiment is a freebie from Birdscards. You can find it HERE.
Hello from Helen - I have used the very cute 'Bunny Christmas' digi stamp from Lee Holland Art to make my card. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then die cut into a scalloped stitched design. I kept my design very simple using some text paper and a wooden snowflake embellishment.
