Week 46 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Sponsored by Dr Digi

Welcome to the Colour Crazy Challenge!

Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.

Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.

This week we are sponsored by the wonderful Dr Digi!

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

I can show a card again. Josje This nice digi, Mavis and marco's movie night is from dr Digi's sponsor. I colored the digi with pencil, cut it out and stuck it up, it has become a smart line card the glass I have stuck out of the card.

Pam ~ For my project card today, I've selected 'Ambrose Dunderton', from our sponsor, Dr. Digi House of Stamps.  He's colored using Copic markers and die cut with a simple x-stitched rectangle shape.  I've stamped the sentiment from my stash that is appropriate for this masculine 'mature' image and matted it in dark green.  The A2 card base is covered in a number patterned paper which is perfect for the Birthday card theme.  After adding the layers I tied a green string around the fold and added a 'music' charm at the knotted bow.

Hi Dawn here with one of my favourite characters from Dr Digi, Flossie Bumblethorpe on Santa's Knee.  I coloured them with copic markers and fussy cut Santa's head, all of Flossie, her hands and Santa's hand. I have a really large magnifying glass, lol! I embossed the pink background with tiny dots and the main background with frosty morning. I used crystal effects on Flossie's eye glasses and it made the ink bleed, I was very ticked! Finally adding stickles, ribbon, rhinestones and the word die. IRL it looks so dimensional, I love how it turned out!

Ruth:  I really like using the Cake Numbers set (each number can be bought individually too!) and I made this card for one of my team - who doesn't like cake?!  Coloured with Promarkers and a little glitter glue on the candle flames, I've kept it all nice and simple to show off the wonderful numbers!

Just fabulous as always!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hello It's Louise here, my card for this week is using  the image I am using is Simon the seal.  It's is sponsored by Dr Digi. I have coloured him in using promarkers, and used various beach themed cut outs I got from a cheap pound shop years ago, gingham card and some shiny textured blue card.

What a busy week, thank goodness it's Friday!  Andrea here sharing my inspiration using Advanced Spells and Conjuring :) I so love this image,  I had to do a full on colouring with me Copics creating a background as well.  I've used Copics to make this single layer card.  Also a little embossing enamel for that magic touch.  Have a great crafty weekend!

Donna here with a "Spell"-binding card using the Advanced Spells and Conjuring Image from our sponor Dr. Digi.  Mr. Wizard has no Eye of Newt in the Cupboard so he's looking for another recipe.  I've colored the image with Sepctrum Noir Illustrator Alcohol Markers and the card measures 5.5" square.  For the complete card details, please visit my blog HERE.

Ruth:  Cuppa is always a go to favourite of mine!  And I do like a good pun too!  Coloured with Promarkers with a computer generated sentiment and I've kept it clean and simple

Just fabulous as always!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hi josje I colored this cute old lady flossie bumblethorpe doctor-digi with Caran d'Ache luminance and edited the background with ink

Hey there!  Pam here bringing you my version of Flossie Bumblethorpe with an added scripture as the sentiment.  I've used Copic markers for coloring on this 5 1/2" square card of encouragement.  Thank you Dr. Digi for being this week's sponsor!

Hi Dawn here with my Flossie card, she is such a character! I've had this sentiment for a while and it just seemed a perfect choice for her! I cropped Flossie and just used her upper body which I coloured with copic makers. I used 3-D crystal effects on her glass lenses and added purple stickles in the corner (which are very hard to see). The background is embossed using Dotted with Stars.

Hi, Lou here. It has been a crazy month, but I have managed to colour Selfie Santa from Doctor Digi Stamps for this month's challenge as I was thinking more along the lines of Christmas in July!
I have coloured with Copics and adhered the image to a white square card from Envelope Solutions. I then have stamped in Nautical Blue Memento ink a sentiment from Happiest of Holidays Clear Stamp Set by La-La Land CraftsI have drawn some inspiration for the colouring from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesomMonthly Classes and Bonus Classes.
Please check out my blog post for more information.

Ruth:  I've gone with an old favourite Cuppa which I've coloured with Promarkers.  Sentiment has been created on the computer

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hello! Marjeta here from Marjetina ustvarjalnica. I am sharing a card with Dr. Digi's digital stamp for this challenge. I colored the image called Mavis and Marco's Movie Night with Promarkers. I placed the Mavis in the living room to create a homely atmosphere. Die-cut I used for the frame is from NajlepÅ¡i par.

Hello.. I am Billie A and this is my card from Doctor Digi.. I colored with copics and used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I added the My favorite things sentiment and added to Basic Gray designer paper. If you click on my name you will be taken to this card on my blog..

Hello everyone!  I'm Roberta and I love Doctor Digi digital stamps and this month I wanted to use two of them!  With Pick Up Pup I made a card: the digital I colored it with Spectrum Noir Classique and the background instead, I made it with a white bazzil that I embossed with small paws.

With Mavis and Marco's Monday Movie night  I made a nice card that I gave to a dear friend of mine that I hadn't seen for a very long time.  I saw her drawing and it seemed perfect for her!  I colored the digital stamp with Spectrum Noir Classique. I made the background with the gel press, some abstract stamps and some white chalk.

Hello this is perfect Dr. Digi image for a card on my favorite drink -- coffee. This image is so much fun and is called "Caffeinated Colinda.". I used die cuts to help highlight the image. Layering of different papers was also included. I added a wooden "Coffee Time" element I had, some glitter for the bunny slipper and gems.

Hi again - Vic here!  We've got a great sponsor this week - the very popular Dr Digi. I got this cool, retro image, of one of the joys of the old cassette tapes...using a pencil to wind the tape back inside, if it had been mangled in the machine! (You have to be of a certain age to remember that! ;))  This image is called: Unwind. (Believe it or not, it's priced at only £1- what a bargain! )  I coloured it to look like one of the old cassette tapes I remembered, then added some DCVW papers, from the "Retro" pack. The handy thing was, that I could write my sentiment on the cassette tape like we used to write on what was on the tape. I could use this image to make cards for loads of people!

Just fabulous as always!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hello, here Maryann GD with a card in the shape of a woollen cap to highlight the funny
"Snow fun" image of our sponsor Doctor Digi. I colored it with my Tri-Blend Spectrum Noir
and DecoTime markers. The card is created from my Silhouette Cameo, I added some winter foliage cutouts. For more details, do not hesitate to visit my blog, here.

Hi there, Margo here and today I made a card with the funny Snow Fun digi by our fabulous sponsor Dr Digi. I have coloured him with my Copic Markers and added only cardstock. I love making cards with just the colouring on it.

Hello everyone, it's GDT Sarah here with my card for this weeks' challenge.  I was very happy to be able to use Dad Dancing from our fabulous sponsor Dr Digi - I knew the image would be fun to colour and fun it was! I finished the card with one computer generated sentiment and a stamped and die-cut sentiment and some striped card. As you may have noticed by now I love to colour with my Copics and then let the images speak for themselves, so my 'style' is rather Clean and Simple.

Hi Dawn here with my Dr Digi Mycroft card! I coloured him with copic markers, fussy cut the fishbowl to pop it up and finished with the sentiment.

Hello - it's Helen here with my card for this week's challenge using 'Dad Dancing' from Dr Digi's House of Stamps available here.  I coloured the image with Promarkers, added a stamped sentiment and some paper to coordinate with my colouring.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  Please give a warm welcome to Sarah who is joining us as a Guest Designer for 3 months!  I think one of my life goals should be to have a pink chair like Knitty Nora!!

Ruth:  Using an old favourite - Selfie Santa and used Promarkers to colour.  The papers are positively ancient and are no longer available from Funky Hand - trying to use up all the bits n bobs I have in my stash!

Hello everyone I'm Sarah, from These I Made, with my first GDT make for the Challenge.  I've used the brilliant Knitty Nora from our fabulous sponsor Doctor Digi and coloured her with my Copics. I decided to make a fairly simple card as I felt the image should take pride of place and so only added a small amount of patterned paper and a little paper trim, with a fun sentiment, to finish off.

Pam here today with Ambrose, King of the Road from our sponsor Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. I've colored the image with Copic markers and used a 'map' patterned paper to cover the 5 1/2 x 6" card base.  I cut the sentiment in the shape of an arrow and matted it with the same olive paper as the colored image.  Once all the layers were secured, I added the sentiment across the bottom and the metal STOP sign embellishment in the top left corner.

Hello! Kathy here sharing my DT card that features a fun digi from Dr. Digi named Knitty Nora. I printed the image twice on both white cardstock and on patterned paper.  Then colored them with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers, adding highlights with Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen and a white colored pencil, I fussy-cut then paper pieced the image, layering sections with foam tape to add depth. A little tedious, but I do like the final card! The sentiments are computer-generated.

Hi, Silke here! For my card I used the image Naughty or Nice from the sponsor Dr. Digi. A satin ribbon was wrapped around a design paper and both were attached to a card. The motif was coloured with Copics, punched out with a die and fixed to the card with Dimensionals. Finally, a Christmas tree, the sentiment and some red rhine stones were added.

Hi Lou here with Ambrose, King of the Road from our sponsor Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. I haven't coloured a car before, but I had heaps of fun making it all rusty!! I used some inspiration from Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesomMonthly Classes and Bonus classes colouring with Copics.
Further details on my blog post.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Ruth:  I've used Desmond the Dodo and coloured him with Promarkers to match my papers which are rather small left overs that I've had for years and I'm trying to use up all the offcuts I have in my stash!  The sentiment stamp is a few different ones added together!

Hello..
Billie A. here with my card using the image from Dr. Digi's called Patient Pets.  I created the scene and colored the images with Copics. I used Gouache to create the stars and moon. The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti and heat embossed.  You can see more on my card if you click on my name.

Hello! Kathy here sharing a card that features a festive image from Dr. Digi named Harley Claus. After coloring the Jolly Ol’ Elf with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen, I upcycled two very different calendar pages to give Santa a change of scenes for the holidays. Computer-generated sentiments finish off the fun. (This card will be sent to my younger brother and his family in Florida this year. HoHoHo!)

Hi,
Silke here. For my card I used the digi Bertha`s Blooming Box from our Sponsor Dr. Digi. First, the card was embossed with a wall pattern embossing folder. To make the pattern more visible, the card was then wiped with a sponge.  Bertha and her blooming box was coloured with Copics, cut out and fixed to the card with dimensionals. Finally, a golden die-cut element, the embossed sentiment and some red enamel dots were added.

Pam here with my version of Patient Pets from Dr. Digi.  After Copic coloring the image I carefully cut around the edges and inside. Next I added foam tape to the back and tiny fall leaf paper.  I made the card front to look like the wall of a home, then added the dimensional window with animals. The card is finished with a fishtail cut sentiment and a double looped organza bow.  Click on my name for a few more details on my blog if interested.

Hi Dawn here with my Dr Digi card featuring A Bone to Pick! I used copic markers to colour him and LOVE how the fur turned out! I cut out then popped up his ears, muzzle, nose, and embossed both of the backgrounds. I haven't decided who to give it too so when I do I'll add a sentiment!

Hi Lou here, I have used Patient Pets by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and printed on to X-PressIt Blending Card before colouring with Copics. I have attached the coloured piece on to a slimline white card from Envelope SolutionsI have taken inspiration for the wall paper and carpet from the fabulous Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesomMonthly Classes, this one from quite a few years ago now. To see more details, click on my name. I also was not sure on a sentiment, so will add it later!
