Welcome to the Colour Crazy Challenge!
Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes
You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.
This week we are sponsored by Conie Fong Art
The sponsor is generously providing a special code during the two weeks of this challenge that can be used to get 25% off in the store! Please use COLOURCRAZY25NOV
Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.
So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.
Pam: I'm here to share with you my project card using our Sponsor, Conie Fong Art, image Candy Cane Penguin. I wanted to make a 'ouple' card so I duplicated the image and reversed it to make a pair for my card. You'll notice the 'girl' is slightly smaller as I wanted them to be a couple, not twins. I've used Copic markers for coloring and added the falling snow and snowy hills. This is a fun image to color and makes a great Christmas card.
Hello Friends! Donna here with a card featuring the Candy Cane Penguin digital image and sentiment graciously provided by our sponsor Conie Fong. This little cutie was a fun and easy color using alcohol markers. Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of year!
Happy Friyay! andrea here with some inspiration from Conie Fong using her Candy Cane Penguin (what a cutie!). I've coloured him with Copics and then fussy cut him. The design paper is from Hobby Craft cut with dies and I've used a wood chip embellishment from my stash. Have a wonderful crafy weekend :)
Hi Dawn here with my Conie Fong card, I chose to use Christmas Tree Gnome, he's such a sweetheart! I coloured him with copic markers and used a sakura glitter gel pen on the star and ornaments. I couldn't find a background paper I liked so I created my own. I stamped a dotted background on whisper white paper using versa mark and embossed with detail gold. I sponged gable green (light green) on most of the front and then edged with handsome hunter (darker green), finally adding the glitter epoxy dots to match the gnomes hat. The dots are very subtle in the photo but IRL look really good!
Ruth: I've used both images as I couldn't pick just one! I've kept them very clean and simple, using dies to cut out the images and then to layer onto cards. Coloured with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue here and there. Great images for making lots of cards quickly!
Just fabulous as always!
