Claire C What a great challenge, the perfect antidote to these cold days, hopefully Spring wont' be too far away. I've used one of my favourite image from the PolkaDoodles CD Candy Doodles for this card

Wk 23... Vintage Polka dots Graph'It marker challenge

Did you get to watch our Create and Craft TV show with Nikky yesterday? Sellouts across the board, fantastic! The word is certainly spreading about our lovely Graph'Its and we know that everyone who tries them usually falls in love just like we all have! Don't forget, they also mix with your other markers too so they are a great addition to your marker collections and we have LOADS of colours that are not found in other brands too. Nikky has been nagging for a few things she thinks we need and we love that the Graph'It people really listen to what we need as crafters, it shows what a great brand they are! Nikky has been nagging for some time about needing WHITE PENS...and finally last week she got her wish! The new Graph'It Shake White - woohoo!! Fri 1st Nov....Team A: Wk 19 Tic Tac Toe - choose 3!

Hi everyone, welcome back to another Graph'It challenge, thanks so much for joining us : )

It's a bitter-sweet week this week...unfortunately we've had to sadly say goodbye to our teamies Faye Wynn Jones and Karen O'Brien who are both extremely busy bees and can't extend their DT term with us....from the whole team and on behalf of Premium Craft Brands and Graph'It I want to say a massive thanks to them both for all the fabulous work they've shared with us over the past few months, they will be hugely missed (but we're kinda hoping we can convince 'em both to Guest for us soon ; )....

Week 17 Cold Xmas Blue and Purple Polka Dots

Whoop Whoop It's Friday and time for the Graph'It challenge! We also have some really fabulous news today with the announcement of our fabulous new Design Team!

As you know, we've had a DT call out for the past 3 weeks which is now closed. We were really overwhelmed at how many applications we had for the call - as we are a pretty new blog it was brilliant to see that we are obviously becoming pretty well known around challenge land because we were blown away firstly by the number of applications, but more importantly, the calibre of the applicants - WOW is all we can say!! We had to turn down some uber talented and very high profile people this time around and it was SUCH a difficult decision to make. (At this point I also want to give you a tip: please don't get fed up about applying for challenges if you don't get accepted. We could so easily have accepted 30 people for this call because the standard was so high, and that is no exaggeration! DT calls are not always about accepting the very best cardmakers/colourers etc...) 

We think it's really important to have a wide mix of talents, styles and abilities in our team and hopefully that's what we bring. Ultimately it's about inspiring you to have a go and obviously we have some amazing talent here, but we also know that some of you get a bit overwhelmed and have a tendency to think 'I can't do that, I'm not good enough'...so we try to show you that EVERYONE can colour... with the right products of course! And we genuinely all feel that Graph'It are superb for anyone who considers themselves to need a little help in the colour department! So go on, give them a try - maybe next time you will be on our team! ; )

Wk13: Graph'It challenge...No Characters - colour an Accessory!

Hey, it's Friday! Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge!

Now, before we even get started we have some great news for you all - from today's challenge onwards we shall be picking a RANDOM WINNER each week to get one of our great prizes! WOOHOO!! We're doing this as a massive thanks to you all for entering each week and we think it's much fairer that everyone gets an equal chance to win some lovely goodies, no matter how great your technique for colouring is! What a fun challenge, I decided to may a boy's card, so used the cute truck digis on the Pretty Tuff CD from Polkadoodles for my bright and cheery card.

This week's theme was defnitely a challenge but I decided to have a go at colouring glass and bottled (ouch bad pun lol) out of colouring the wallpaper through the glass so I tried to add some shadow and  depth around the bottom of the glass to make it look like it was standing well away from the wall.

Background Effects with Graph'It Markers...Week 11

Hi Graph'It fans - it's Friday challenge time!

I've used an image from the fab Polkadoodles CD 'Here Comes Christmas' , coloured it with my Graph'Its and overlaid it with acetate. My background was actually created on the acetate by colouring with 7130 for the sky and 1280 for the light from the lamp, I sprayed with Mix'It spray to create the snowy effect ... easy!

Colours used: 

Greens: 8120, 8110. Red: 3160, 5245, 5220

Blue: 7130,7125,7110,7105. Black: 9909, 9507, 9505, 9503

Skin: 4180, 4155, 4115, 4120

I also used an image from the PolkaDoodles CD 'Here Comes Christmas'. I wanted to create a winter sky so I used 3 different shades 7105 7110 9100 layered over each other and then used my Blender to bring them together and  lighten some areas, really easy and very effective I think!

I love this image from the Polkadoodles BonBon Belles CD Rom, it just says summer to me. And, with all of the space around the toadstools and birdhouse, it works really well with the smooshy, dotty background I love to do with Graph'It Markers...

The only stamp used on my card is the sentiment, I played with my Graph'It Markers, Mix'It Fluid and a Stencil to create my background effect.

I love thinking of different background effects I can do with my Graph'Its but this particular one is a very old favourite of mine...

I used the Premium Art Brands Snowy Cottage and Winter spruce stamps on this and created a sky and snowy scene. The snow is made using Mix'It fluid....this stuff is SO addictive, I find I just sit there trying to think of new ways to use it all the time!
