Week 50 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Sponsored by Pattie's Creations

Welcome to the Colour Crazy Challenge!

Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.

Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.

This week we are sponsored by Pattie's Creations

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

It is with sadness I announce that this will be the last Colour Crazy Challenge - the Design Team would like to thank all our sponsors over the years and all our participants - without you it would not have been the Colour Crazy Challenge

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Josje Hello today I can show you another Christmas card with this nice digi from Pattie's creations the sponsor . I colored the digi  holiday topiary with my caran d 'ache pablo pencils

Pam here ~ I selected the Holiday Topiary also as I think the Holly and Berries are just perfect for the Christmas season.  After sizing the digital image to just over 3" tall I printed it and did the coloring with my Copic markers.  I used Gina Marie Designs Oval Lace die for the decorative edge.  The rust swirl patterned background matting picks up the shades in the pot perfectly.  The two layers are mounted on a Kraft A2 base to complete my project.

Hello! Lou here! I decided to use both images that we had available from Pattie's CreationsHoliday Topiary and Candy Canes with Bow. When I was resizing the topiary image in Pages, I added the candy canes on to the pot and then printed on X-Press It Blending card. They were both fun to colour in Copics. The background idea was inspired by the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesomMonthly Classes and Bonus Classes. I have adhered the completed image on to a white card from Envelope Solutions. Further details can be found on my blog post: here.

Ruth:  I've used the Holiday Topiary and used Promarkers to colour plus little half pearls for the berries.  Paper is from my stash and I've added an over the top red bow - it's Christmas after all!

Just fabulous as always!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hiya it's Louise here and my card this week sponsored by Mirtillamente, and the image I am using is Santa Ops! I have coloured the image using promarkers, and some stickles glitter glue. The background paper and greetings were from some free Christmas papers I have had a while from a magazine. Added a couple of Brads.

Pam ~ Welcome to a new week of challenges here on Colour Crazy.  I'm suing 'Santa Ops' from our sponsor Mirtillamente Craft Shop today. I've printed the image after sizing for a A2 card front and then colored with Copic markers.  I added the Horizontal 'roof' line and made a full moon and falling snow using Copics, Distressed Oxides and a white gel pen.  After die cutting, I added the sentiment 'Never stop believing in Santa', then mounted on navy blue dotted swiss and secured both to the A2 card base to complete my design.

Happy FriYay!  So glad its nearly the weekend.  I'm using Sweet Rudolf today for my inspiration from Mirtillamente.  The image has been coloured with Copics before fussy cutting.  The Kraft paper is from Hobby craft and behind the image paper cut with a die from First Edition.  The wooden sentiment is also from Hobby Craft.  Have a lovely crafty weekend :)

Hi Crafty Friends!  Donna here with the fun and wild Sweet Rudolph, which was genrously supplied by our sponsor Mirtillamente.  I've colored him using alcohol markers and kept the design minimal so Rudolph would take center stage.  Have a Sweet Christmas Everyone!

Just fabulous as always!

Week 48 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Sponsored by Hetty Claire

Welcome to the Colour Crazy Challenge!

Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.

Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.

This week we are sponsored by Hetty Clare!

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hi Dawn here with my Hetty Clare image, Pony Xmas Hat, so cute! I coloured him with copic markers and popped up the fur of his hat and the pom pom. I created the background using Smooch Spritz and Perfect Pearls Mist on whisper white cardstock, sooo fun! Once it was dry I used Stampin Up softly falling embossing folder and stickles on the snowflakes. There is a snowflake behind the sentiment and lastly I added the pearls. Love how it turned out!

Hello all, it's Sarah here with my card for this week's challenge. Our lovely sponsor this time is HettyClare and the DT were very kindly given a digi to use, so this is my make with the super cute Pony Xmas Hat.  I could almost imagine the pony being annoyed someone was trying to dress him up like Rudolph the Reindeer and ran with that idea! I used my Copics to colour the image, a stencil for the background and went simple with the style.  Please visit my blog if you would like more details.

Pam here, wishing you a Merry Christmas as I join in today my Design Team card using Hetty Clare's Cat Christmas image.  I added the Christmas Wishes sentiment to the side of the cat image and then colored her with my Copic markers.  I covered the A2 card base with red cardstock, then added the vertical strip of Christmas kitty paper. After die cutting the completed image with the pretty stitched edge, I secured it to the right edge of the card front.  This gave a little more balance and allowed more of the patterned paper to be visible.

Ruth:  I've used both images as I couldn't pick just one!  Using Promarkers and bits and bobs from my stash

Just fabulous as always!

Week 46 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Sponsored by Dr Digi

Welcome to the Colour Crazy Challenge!

Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.

Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.

This week we are sponsored by the wonderful Dr Digi!

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

I can show a card again. Josje This nice digi, Mavis and marco's movie night is from dr Digi's sponsor. I colored the digi with pencil, cut it out and stuck it up, it has become a smart line card the glass I have stuck out of the card.

Pam ~ For my project card today, I've selected 'Ambrose Dunderton', from our sponsor, Dr. Digi House of Stamps.  He's colored using Copic markers and die cut with a simple x-stitched rectangle shape.  I've stamped the sentiment from my stash that is appropriate for this masculine 'mature' image and matted it in dark green.  The A2 card base is covered in a number patterned paper which is perfect for the Birthday card theme.  After adding the layers I tied a green string around the fold and added a 'music' charm at the knotted bow.

Hi Dawn here with one of my favourite characters from Dr Digi, Flossie Bumblethorpe on Santa's Knee.  I coloured them with copic markers and fussy cut Santa's head, all of Flossie, her hands and Santa's hand. I have a really large magnifying glass, lol! I embossed the pink background with tiny dots and the main background with frosty morning. I used crystal effects on Flossie's eye glasses and it made the ink bleed, I was very ticked! Finally adding stickles, ribbon, rhinestones and the word die. IRL it looks so dimensional, I love how it turned out!

Ruth:  I really like using the Cake Numbers set (each number can be bought individually too!) and I made this card for one of my team - who doesn't like cake?!  Coloured with Promarkers and a little glitter glue on the candle flames, I've kept it all nice and simple to show off the wonderful numbers!

Just fabulous as always!

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Pam:  I'm here to share with you my project card using our Sponsor, Conie Fong Art, image Candy Cane Penguin.  I wanted to make a 'ouple' card so I duplicated the image and reversed it to make a pair  for my card.  You'll notice the 'girl' is slightly smaller as I wanted them to be a couple, not twins.  I've used Copic markers for coloring and added the falling snow and snowy hills.  This is a fun image to color and makes a great Christmas card.

Hello Friends!  Donna here with a card featuring the Candy Cane Penguin digital image and sentiment graciously provided by our sponsor Conie Fong.  This little cutie was a fun and easy color using alcohol markers.  Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of year!

Happy Friyay!  andrea here with some inspiration from Conie Fong using her Candy Cane Penguin (what a cutie!).  I've coloured him with Copics and then fussy cut him.  The design paper is from Hobby Craft cut with dies and I've used a wood chip embellishment from my stash.  Have a wonderful crafy weekend :)

Hi Dawn here with my Conie Fong card, I chose to use Christmas Tree Gnome, he's such a sweetheart! I coloured him with copic markers and used a sakura glitter gel pen on the star and ornaments. I couldn't find a background paper I liked so I created my own. I stamped a dotted background on whisper white paper using versa mark and embossed with detail gold. I sponged gable green (light green) on most of the front and then edged with handsome hunter (darker green), finally adding the glitter epoxy dots to match the gnomes hat. The dots are very subtle in the photo but IRL look really good!

Ruth:  I've used both images as I couldn't pick just one!  I've kept them very clean and simple, using dies to cut out the images and then to layer onto cards.  Coloured with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue here and there.  Great images for making lots of cards quickly!

Just fabulous as always!

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Hello all, it's Sarah here with my card for this weeks' challenge. I've used a really cute image - Little Treasure - from our sponsor All Dressed Up Stamps. As always the image has been coloured with my Copics and then some die-cutting, stamping and a bit of dotty card finishes it all off.  I thought this card could be suitable for either a new baby or a general hello theme.  Full details can be found on my blog.

Hi there, Margo here and today I'm showing the card I made with the adorable digi Christmas Skate from our generous sponsor All Dressed Up. I have to admit, I'm a big fan of their digi's, I coloured this one with my copic markers and used some DP from Masterpiece Designs with some diecuts from them, kinda addicted to those too

Hi Dawn here with my card, the adorable Christmas Skate! I coloured my image with copic markers and used a very light pink chaulk for the background clouds. Next added very small pearls as snowflakes in the image with a trio of pink pearls to finish it off.

Pam here ~ Joining in with my Christmas card using our sponsor, All Dressed Up, Christmas Skate also. I've made a double tag card by simply coloring the image with Copic markers and using a tag die and also using a tag die for the 'Wishing You Joy' sentiment.  I covered the A2 card base with a black snowflake paper, then added the tags.  For the tie on the image tag I used two different pieces of organza ribbon and the used a pearl diamond dot for the sentiment tag.  I love this image and how cute the card turned out.

Ruth:  I've also used the cute Christmas Skate image and used Promarkers to colour.  I found some really old pre printed papers in my stash to use and I've made a little rocker card - dotted liquid pearls, die cut and ribbons from my stash.

Hello - it's Helen here with my card for this week.  Our sponsor is All Dressed Up and I used the very cute 'Little Treasure' to make my card.  I colored the image with my Promarkers and keep the design very simple.

Just fabulous as always!

Hello.. Billie A here using the image from Scribbles designs called snowman.. I colored the image with copics and used some Ranger ink for the background. I added the Sugar pea sentiment. If you click on my name it will take you to this card on my blog.

This is Elizabeth with a very cute snowman from Scribbles Designs called Peek a Boo.
I colored him with Copics and added a bit of glitter to his hat and scarf.   Enamel dots were added to match the color scheme.   A handmade bow was added as well as a sentiment (Hero Arts).

Hi! Marjeta here from Marjetina ustvarjalnica. I made a new card for this Challenge, with a cute image from Scribbles designs. I colored it with Promarkers. For the background, I used Ranger Distress Ink and an embossing folder. I added a few stars from my stash and sentiment - YNS.

Hi! Vic here, to share my card for this week. I made this with "beer mugs" from Scribbles designs, our sponsor this challenge.  I coloured the image with my promarkers and other alcohol pens and set it on a paper background. The sentiment I diecut with my big-shot and I embossed the edges of the card and drew a little border to compliment the paper, around it's edge. A few punched stars and some pearl effect bubbles finished off this card.

Pam here with another card using Scribbles Snowman Peekaboo.  I've colored this jolly fellow with Copic markers and added a vertical strip of Holiday words in a subway format, tucking it under his scarf.  The image and greetings are matted on aqua cardstock and the card base is covered with a blue swirl patterned paper.  After securing the image to the card base, I added the coordinating ribbon and a glittery mitten embellishment.

Hi Dawn here with my Peek A Boo Snowman! I coloured him with copic markers and cut him out. I used two different embossing folders hoping it added a little depth. I used stickles, finally adding die cuts and rhinestones.
