Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!
Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes
You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.
This week our sponsor is Oddball Stamps!
We've been lucky to use some of the images from the Creepy Cute Chronicles which you can get a free 14-day trial via this link
Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.
We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry. Good luck!
So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.
Ruth: I decided to use one of the fab
Funny Yeti Faces, coloured with Promarkers and then added it to the card base with a homemade spring. Sentiment is computer generated and I've finished off my doodling a line around the edge of the card!
I colored the image with copics and cut her down and adder her to this fun colorful designer paper. I added the tiny ric rac ribbon along the side.. I know it's hard to read but the sentiment says "The dust bunnies killed my cleaning fairy".. If you click on my name it will take you to this card on my blog.
Hey there!
Pam here ~ and I too am sharing
Oddball Art's Spring Cleaning image. Inspired by the waves in her hair, I decided to make my gal a woman of color. I've used the 'N' series of Copic markers to get the multiple shades of grey to black for her hair. To achieve her pretty caramel skin tone, I selected E21, E04, E11, E30 and E35. Her dress is colored to match the background paper and the pink border matches the bunny and shoes. You can find more details if you click on my name to go to my personal
blog.
Hello! Kathy here sharing a fun card that features four fun digi image from Oddball Art named Funny Yeti Faces. I wanted to feature all of the Yeti’s… and their names… on my card so I used a unique fold that I found HERE. It was actually very easy to make and includes a pocket for a gift card. (I chose one from Michaels that has the same color scheme as the card.) Speaking of colors, the cuties were brought to life with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. I finished the card with a flurry of die-cut snowflakes and computer-generated sentiments (Yeti or not... you are OLD! May your birthday be legendary.)
Hi!
Hanna here with
a paper clip card using Spring Cleaning by Oddball Art. I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers. I have used a # 8 size manila tag by Inkssentials and patterned papers from the Fabulous collection by Authentique. I decorated the card with some ribbon from my stash and black rhinestones and white pearls.
Hi
Lou here with my card using
Funny Yeti Faces by
Oddball Stamps. I have printed the stamp on to X-Press It Blending Card and then coloured the cute Yetis with Copics pen. I added a bit of sparkle to the horns. I have then just adhered the coloured image to a white card from
Envelope Solutions.
You can find out further details on my blog post

Hello
Silke here. I used the
Funny Yeti Faces from the our sponsor Oddball Art to create Christmas tags. Tags were punched out with a die and underlaid with chequered design paper. The faces were coloured with Copics, cut out and placed on the tags. Gold and white snowflakes were then placed on the tags as well as the sentiments. Then the faces were placed. Finally, the red ribbons were threaded and tied together with a thin gold string.
