THE EAST WIND
The artist behind The East Wind digital images is known as Unky LaStrange. Unky makes her home in British Columbia, Canada with her wonderful daughter, Aurora, the love of her life and source of much inspiration. She has been creating art since she was a child always allowing it to reflect her interests, humour, and love of all that is quirky. Her unique images run the gamut from the darkly humourous and sometimes creepy through the world of fashion-forward Lucy Loo to the sweet Aurora and Baby Aurora where life and people are good and beautiful. There are images to suit every taste, occasion, or whim at The East Wind so make sure you check out the store by clicking the image above!

Nikky...As soon as I saw this amazing image which is called Angel I knew just how I wanted to colour her. Sometimes less is more and I love using just a hint of colour sometimes rather than the full on heavy coverage we love with Graph'It. This image sums up the exact colours I had in my mind when I started...

I used:
Skin: 4105, 4125, 4150, 3105, 3120, 4145, 4135 cheeks
Pinks: 4110, 4125, 4135, 4150, 4160
Greys: Graph'It waterbased brushliner

Scatty Jan Whoooo hoooo Pink and Pretty , just love , love, love using Pinks. I have used the real cutie image from East Wind - Baby Aurora you can find her here, just soooo sweet, I loved colouring her up. I added some hearts to her pillow. Using the lovely colour palette for my Inspiration...

Kevin I thought I would make a door hanger using this image called Pink Babydoll...
Graph'It Markers Used
Skin 4115.4150.4155.4180
Hair 3110.3125.1270
Baby doll 5110.5115.5120.5125
Stockings & shoes 9508.9905.9909

YvonneI have used the image 'Date Evening Lovely Mon Amour'.  I have used the following colouring palette for inspiration...
 Here is a closer look:
I used the following markers:
Skin: 4101, 4105, 4125, 3105, 3110
Hair: 9102, 9104, 9107, black
Dress & Shoes: 5125, 5150, 5170
Phone: 9104, 9107
I also used a black fine liner

In addition, I have mastered (may be a slight exaggeration) the art of using the Graph'It Marker Mix It Palette, which has let me mix 4125 and 3105/3110 to give that extra shadow without making it too dark and too contrast. I also used the Mix It Palette for the dress adding 5170 to the 5125 for that depth of shadow.

What fabulous makes and inspiration again this week!
Don't forget to check out all the wonderful images from our sponsor, East Wind...

We'll be back next week with the winnders from last time and more inspiration - go get your colour on!
