Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!

Our weekly challenge theme is always Anything Goes

You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured or digitally coloured images.

This week our sponsor is Polkadoodles

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

Also don't forget we are also always looking for people to guest spot on our DT. So if you would like to be considered as a GDT, after your name on your entry add the letters GDT.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.  We'd like to welcome Silke and Kathy who join us as Guest Designers for three months!

This challenge will last until 11 January 2019 as the Design Team are taking a well earned break over the Christmas and New Year Period

Ruth:  I've used a clear acrylic stamp - Gnome Santa - Naughty or Nice and coloured it up with Promarkers.  I've added the stamped panel to a card blank and added a faux running stitch around the edges.  I also stamped the sentiment and then added it to an offcut of red card from my stash.

Hello, Kathy here with my first post as a Guest DT. [And I am thrilled to be with this amazing Team!] My card is made with the image  'Ruby Birthday Cake' by Polkadoodles. Ruby is colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and white gel pen highlights. I like using vellum on my cards and this one is no exception. I cut circles of both pink and regular vellum with white swirls to layer under the sentiment so that her flouncy skirt can peek through. The candle glow is also a circle of vellum with details sketched on with a yellow marker. For more details, stop by my blog

Hello.. Billie A here with my card using the image Ruby birthday cake.
I love black and white stripes so thought I would use this from My favorite things. I found this purple/pink paper from Stampin up and when with these colors to color the image with copics. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. The sentiment is embossed and from Simon says. I added some Stampin up bling to the black and white paper.. You can see more on my card on my blog at Billie A

Hello, Sherry here using the beautiful 'Robin Gift Branch' by Polkadoodles.  The image is colored with colored pencils and cut out with a frame die. Fussy cut the image out around the square part, then taped it to another die cut frame. Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the center of the card and taped it on. Then taped the image onto the card. Glued three flatback pearls in two corners of the frame and on the berries.

Hello, Sherry here again, using the beautiful 'Ruby Birthday Cake' by Polkadoodles.  The image is colored with colored pencils. Used a background die on a piece of patterned paper and taped it to the center of the card. Then used a distressing tool around the image and added distress oxide ink and distress ink on it. Next I taped the image, vines, flowers, butterfly and sentiment onto the card. Then glued flatback pearls on.

Hi there, it's Margo here. I have used the adorable Robin Gift Branch by Polkadoodles.  I have coloured the image with my copic markers.  I have used my snow marker for the bonnet of the robin and have used some older papers and a white base card. I have used just some rhinestones in the corners to decorate as I wanted the digi to draw all the attention.

Silke: I have used  the sweet image Robin Gift Branch from Polkadoodles. The image is coloured with copics and cut out with a frame die from Die-namics.  Added a piece of design paper from Stampin Up on the card. Cuted out a border  with the die cut from Die-namics and added this behind a stripe of cardstock. A stripe of vellum  was laid over it. Than a glimmer snowflake border  was punched out with a die from Stampin Up and was fixed on the stripe. Next I taped the image and the sentiment from My Favorite Things on the card and decorated the card with sequins at the end.

Melle Clef : Today I am showing you a 2 Christmas cards I've made with the gorgeous digistamp : Winnie Angel Decorations up. I colored it with alcohol markers and added a lot of wink of stella. To create my cards I simply used several Christmas papers and die cuts.

Hello it is Margaret and this is my second guest designer card. I have also used Winnie Decorations Up which I have coloured with markers and glitter gel pens and added precoloured baubles and rhinestones.

Hello, it's Carole here with my second Guest DT card. I was lucky to receive a digi stamp to work with and I chose the beautiful Robin Gift Branch by Polkadoodles. Little Winnie and her robin were coloured with Copic markers and given some white Posca pen highlights and some Glossy Accent holly berries. The image background was inked with Memento Desert Sand. I teamed the image with some snowflake paper and some gold textured paper.  For more details, please visit my blog.

Hello! Hanna here with a decorated Toffifee box. I've used Winnie Angel - Gift of Christmas. How adorable! I've coloured her with Distress Inks. The patterned paper is an oldie from the Nordic Holiday Collection by Basic Grey.

Hi it's Janet, with my last card for 2018. I've Used the Polkadoodles image 2 cute Christmas Penguins. I've coloured them with alcohol pens, they have been put on a fold back card. I have also used a die cut sentiment, some candy dots and a big bow with a charm.

Hi, it is Lou with my last card for 2018. As with some of my team mates, I have used the Polkadoodles image 2 cute Christmas Penguins. I combined them in my Silhouette Cameo software, but then my Silhouette is playing up and will not cut properly! So I had to fussy cut around the image after I had coloured with Copics markers and a bit of Wink of Stella. I have used a Kraft card and for more details, please visit my blog at JemLou Productions. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a good slide into the New Year!

Jane - I have used lots of Polkadoodles goodies on my project today and I've given it a mixed media feel!  The main image is a clear stamp called Gnome - 25 December and I have coloured with watercolour paints. Links and further details on my blog.
