Good morning and welcome to The Colour Crazy Challenge blog!
Our weekly challenge theme is always
Anything Goes
You can use any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.
Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre-coloured images.
This week our sponsor is Scribbles Designs who is another new sponsor for us!
Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.
We are on the look-out for participants to join us for three month Guest Designer positions - if this interests you, please add GD after your name on your entry. Good luck!
So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.
Ruth: I've used the lovely
Tea Cup Stack digi and coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Dovecraft - Tea Time which I've had for years. I've layered the image onto a vellum die cut and also used a brad and paper flowers from the same paper set.
Hi Everyone, Sally Bee here, this is my challenge for March. I chose the image from Scribbles Design and decided that I would do a few scribbles on them as they looked a little plain just coloured in. I coloured them with Triblend markers and added a couple of die cut doily's and cardstock from my crafty stash. I wanted it to have a cafe feel. I decided to put it on a 8x8 canvas. I think it would look good on any kitchen or cafe wall.
Hello... I am
Billie A. I used the image called Stacked Tea cups.. But I added coffee to my cups vs. tea. I colored with copics. I used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the top coffee in the cup. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment on a Stampin up heart. I added to some DCWV dp.. If you click on my name it will take you to my blog to see more on this card and other creations.
Hello! Kathy here sharing a birthday card that features a digi image from Scribbles Designs named Badger. Since lots of these critters live in my state, I used a picture postcard from Northern Wisconsin as my background. The sentiment, also from Scribbles Designs, is named Eat Cake. (I'll have mine with ice cream on the side, please!)
Hi there, Margo here and for my card this week I have coloured
Tea Cup Stack from our fabulous sponsor
Scribbles Designs I have coloured the cups with my marker and decides to do a floral pattern.
Used some paper from my stash and an old Spellbinder die and some flowers.
Hello everyone and happy Friday! This is Helen sharing my card for today's challenge. I have used the 'Badger' image from Scribbles Designs which is available
here. I coloured the image with my Promarkers using various shades of grey. I added some patterned paper and a stamped sentiment to finish my card.
Hi everyone
Dawn here, with
Scribbles Designs Badger trying my hand at a slim card. I created a scene by merging the badger with his flipped slightly larger image coloured with copic markers. I drew in the grassy hilly background, added clouds, then textured the background with crackle embossing folder sponged with a light gold/brown ink. The trees are a die cut by Studio light.
